Payroll Period End Posting

We're getting the following error message when trying to post FUTA and SUTA
taxes:

"FUTA, SUTA or workers' compensation posting is still in progress. Try
again later."

How do we fix this?

Ever find a fix. Has this the end of January and my vendor had me run checl
links and it went away. Now we have it again. Ran check links, stopped and
started SQL server and looked ay SY00800 ans SY00801 to insure they are empty
like vendor said and still get the error

We resolved the issue by deleting the stranded records from the UPR10400
(Payroll Distribution Work) table.

Elaine, thanks seems to have worked. Issue started when user posted FUTA.
Report printed and he got icked out of GP. Didn't tell me until he tried to
post SUTA. In UPR10400 I had 2 recs showing FUTA. Deleted them, he posted
SUTA got kicked out again after report printed. UPR10400 then showed 2 recs
for SUTA. Any idea why it kicks hime out and orphans these records?

Does anyone have a way to run sales comparison for a specified time period ie Dec06 vs Dec05 Hi DAS, If you know how to customized the .QRP files then you can easily do this. I am just giving you an idea: 1. Open the Daily Sales by Sales Rep.QRP 2. In the ProcedureCall make it "" 3. In the TabelQueried type your query criteria how you wanted to do this ( you need to write the group by query to get the resultet. I am new to GP - I have entered about 10 transactions in the Sales Transaction Entry, and posted each one of them. After entering/posting, I realized I had made a couple of mistakes. Somehow - in looking for the solution to how to correct the mistakes, the 'Master Posting' was deleted. ending a process frees up more ram than the process was taking?
I had a process that had a Mem Usage of 685,520 K and PF usage of 2.06 GB. I end the process and my PF usage drops to 1.17 GB. That's a ~890,000 K difference - not ~685,000 K.
