Integration Manager--log file name?

Is there any way to know the name of the log file (we're writing our logs to
text file) from within one of the "After" integration events? If we're
successful, we need to send the user an email telling them that the event is
successful. We're currently cycling through the whole folder to find the
latest one, but if there were a variable in the Integration Manager VBScripts
that I could use, that would be much better.

Thanks.

PSC:

If I recall correctly, IM has a Document Error and Integration Error event
in the integration properties. Rather than looking at the log, you could
place code on the event to set a global variable with some value to indicate
an error occured and send an email based on whether, at the end of the
integration, the variable has a value other than 0. If you then use the
"create rejection files for text queries" setting in Options, you could even
mail the rejected records.

This is, of course, a very dirty way of doing it as it only tells you an
error occured, not what error, but it does point the way.

You could also write you own log based on the Document Error event and use
of the Error Collections Object. This is effectively the same as reading
the log file, but easier as you control the writing of the events.

Dwight

PS: Below is the snip on the Create Rejection option.

  1.. In the Options window, select the Create rejection files for text
queries option.

Integration Manager places rejection files in the same location as the text
file used for the source query. The rejection files uses the same name as
the source query, but includes the .RJT extension. For example, assume the
Vendors source query retrieves information from the file C:\My
Documents\VendInfo.txt file. If you selected the Create rejection files for
text queries option, any rejected records will be written to the file C:\My
Documents\Vendors.rjt.

Use this in the After Integration...it will put a link to the Log file that
was created with the Integration.
Dim fso, fsoFold, fsoFile

Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
Set fsoFold = fso.getfolder("Your File Folder path here")
dtDateCreated=CDate("1/1/1900")

For Each fsoFile In fsoFold.Files
If fsoFile.DateCreated> dtDateCreated then
	dtDateCreated = fsoFile.DateCreated
sName = fsoFile.name
End If
Next

SMTPServer = "your server"

Set objEmail = CreateObject("CDO.Message")

objEmail.From = "Your e-mail"
objEmail.To = "To Email"
objEmail.Subject = "Your Subject"
objEmail.Textbody = "Link to Log file: file:" & fsoFold & "\" & sName
objEmail.Configuration.Fields.Item _
    ("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusing") = 2
objEmail.Configuration.Fields.Item _
    ("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserver") =
SMTPServer
objEmail.Configuration.Fields.Item _
    ("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserverport") = 25
objEmail.Configuration.Fields.Update

objEmail.Send
Set objEmail= Nothing

That's already how we're doing it. I just wondered if there was something
faster than looping through the folder. It would have been nice if IM had a
variable for the filename that we could just use.

Thanks.

Reports and making it look prettier: Last Name, First Name Rank
I'm trying to pretty up my report by eliminating the forced space created by having one field of the report for 'LastName', one for 'FirstName', and one for 'Rank.' The Rank isn't too huge of an issue, and if three items in one field gets to be too much, I have no problem leaving that as a side item of sorts.
