eReq error - cannot create or review ereqs

I moved our data to a new server on the weekend. I changed the ODBC on our
webserver to point to the new server. All sql logins and data exist on the
new server. Users can log into eReq. However, when they attempt to add an
item on a new req:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Insert Error: Column name or
number of supplied values does not match table definition.

/DBUtilities.inc, line 15

If they click on Review Requistion, then click on a Req:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Cannot insert the value NULL
into column 'DEX_ROW_ID', table 'DYNAMICS.dbo.ReqMUKeys'; column does not
allow nulls. INSERT fails.

/DBUtilities.inc, line 15

It has not worked in 3 days and we are getting back logged on our
purchasing. We are using GP 7.5 with eReq 7.03 (only version available). I
have tried uninstalling and reinstalling ereq completely (even deleting site
and recreating).

Hi, it looks like the ODBC connection configuration is wrong. Check for ANSI
and conversion options are uncheck and try again.

Hi

Is there any data in the ReqMUKeys table? If so, do a full backup and
delete the table (not drop).

There are no records in the ReqUMKeys table.

The ODBC is configured properly. The only thing that was changed on it was
to change the sql-server on it to point to the new server.

Hi

Have you managed to solve this? How about you take a backup of the
databases, run the ereq Initialization to recreate the tables. Export the
ReqUMKeys tables, restore the databases, drop ReqUMKeys and import the
table back from the new Initialization export.

Regards

I have been able to get rid of the previous 2 errors, but now everytime I
user logs into eReq, they get these errors. As well, the links on the page
are all doubled ie "create PO" appears twice, "Create requisition" appears
twice..

One User:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Unclosed quotation mark
before the character string 'REQ00000000000002149 order by ReqSeqID desc'.

/DBUtilities.inc, line 15

Another User:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Unclosed quotation mark
before the character string 'REQ00000000000000016 order by ReqSeqID desc'.

/DBUtilities.inc, line 15

Hi

have you tried contacting Microsoft Business Solutions support via
customersource? If not contact your MGP Partner and they should be able to
log the call for you.

I was hoping to avoid paying $200 to log a call for an application that just
stopped working. It should have been a simple routine to move data to a new
server (is for Great Plains, but another story for eReq).

Hi

Just a thought, is the SQL Collation / Sort order the same as the old
server?

I have recently did a SQL migration (using KB7132 as ref) and i have not
received any errors for eReq.

Regards

James

The collations are different. The install on the new server was new with the
new sort orders and the data was transferred over (not choosing the collation
option). I have even dropped the ereq tables on the new server and
recreated, but still have issues.

We don't have any issues with Great Plains.

Yes. I no longer received the first couple of errors, but now I am receiving
