backup file created for every file
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Every time I save a file, there is another file created in the same folder called "Back up of filename." It doesn't matter if it is a new file or an edited file. It happens every time. I think this just started since I updated to Snow Leopard. All these backups are annoying and double the disk space for every file. <br><br>Can I turn that off or stop it from happening, or is it another incompatibility with Snow Leopard?

I would suggest using Data / Filter / AutoFilter. This is a very simple yet
effective way of doing what you want.
If you need to create separate 'tables' you can use the Advanced Filter

then print out report to a text file then logs out of Great Plains. This is
run every night on the server so I use the 'Schedule Tasks' in Window XP to

Greetings all. I have set a timer on a form which has a message box that
pops up at defined intervals telling the user they are still being timed.
The problem is that if they are using another application with access
minimized, the message box is not visible until they minimize all other
applications that are on top of it. Is there a way to make the message box
show on top of all other open applications? I am using Access 2003 with XP

I have worksheet No 1 (called codes) with a list of numbers 1,2,3 etc though
On worksheet I have a list of part number that is around 10,000 lines long.
Each part number have a price ranging from �0 to �2000.
From worksheet 1 I need a formula in worksheet 2 showing that if a price is
between �0 and �29 I need the code number "1" inserted in column A. If a
part has a price between �30 and �199 I need a code of "2"
inserting..........and so on down the 10,000 line spreadsheet.
