Query--using Access 2007
I have a tblAddress table with a lookup field called TypeofAddressID.
A company may have many addresses with different TypeofAddressID—such as 1 =
Business, 2 = Mailstop, 3 = PO Box, and so on.
I need to pull out TypeofAddressID # 1. Then if a 1 is not available, give
me the type that is (which may be the PO address or Mailstop).
I tried DLookup, Xor, and IIf([TypeofAddressID]=1, 1, IIf([TypeofAddressID]=2,
2, IIf([TypeofAddressID]=3, 3, 4))), but it is listing all addresses per
company instead of either or.

I am trying to transfer informtion in one sheet to another sheet in the
same workbook. I have a macro to process this information from the
first sheet to the second. I keep getting an error in this Process
macro at the line.
The first sheet is called ProblemSheet and the second sheet is called
Processed. The line above is taken from the process macro on the
ProblemSheet page. Do I have to name a certain cell as "END" on either
sheet? Any help with this would be really appreciated.

I am trying to install Office v.X onto my new PowerBook and transfer
the entourage data (accouonts, contacts, emails received and sent,
calendar) to the new computer from the old. I have 2 problems:
1. Office will not let both computers run the app. at the same time
(only one license)
2. I see no provision for importing from Entourage X... only earlier

Other than cut/paste from within the browser window to a Windows file, no.
OWA is simply a window into your Exchange server and has no knowledge of

I have a continuous subform where I store order details. When I finish adding
a new record it shows a new blank control below it. How do I stop it from
doing this and only using the "create new record" command button that I have
on my forms header? I only want a new record to be created when I hit the

A new record does not get added until you have entered something into the
blank row at the bottom.

I was trying to find out if there is a downloadable add-in for Excel
that will give you Microsoft query capability. I hace Excel 2000 but I
cannot open an Access file due to not having the 2002 version. I was
told that I needed to go through the process of 1) hitting Import
External Data then 2) Clicking new Database Query. I then get the
message that I must first install the optional Microsoft Query. How can
I download/install this optional Microsoft Query?

I am in need of some advice for a table create query. I have to work with a
database that is imported using XML from an online database. Unfortunately
the online database is a single (flat) table of membership data. I need to
generate a mailing list from that data. The problem is that each record may
contain one of two addresses for the mailing to a member. One is the
organization address they work at the other is an optional mailing address.

First I moved the database to another computer that has

The wizard upgrads 6 or 7 out of 8 tables, but it always
skips one or two tables. If I try to import the mdb table
into the new ADP I get an error message "overflow"
Any idea why the wizard keeps skipping these two tables?
The report at the end of the upgrade does not say why the
tables were skipped.

I seem to be in a Catch 22 here. I Have a Combo box from which the
user selects a description. Then I am using a query to get the rest of
the COURSE details. The current record, from the table ATTEND is
linked to the Table COURSE by the field COURSE_NO. If I try to set Me!
COURSE to rs!COURSE_NO before doing the SaveRecord, it won't let me. I

I'm looking for some assistance with creating a simple CRM workflow. All I
want the workflow to do is:
Send an email whenever a new order record is created in CRM.
The email should contain the order date, created by, and order amount.
I tried, but mine seems to be functioning strange. It seems to be sending
emails in batches of new orders instead of real time. Some of the orders are
not really new orders, but just updated. Also, I cannot get the order amount
to appear on the text.

I'm using Vista 64 bit and have been using WinMail (Outlook Express
replacement) since I upgraded. Now, all of the sudden I'm getting the logon
dialog popping up anytime I try to access my mail. Even though I did not set
it up to require a logon and password when I set it up, I tried every ID and
Password I've ever used and I keep getting the error msg I'm inputting the
wrong ID and./or Password in.
