Adding contacts from email
I'm having a dense moment.
I'm Running Outlook 2k on Windoze XP.
I'm trying to add a contact from received emails. I've done it before but I
can't seem to suss it out now. the help file says:
1.. Open the e-mail message that contains the name you want to add to your

I wrote some code that gets the HTML from a Web page and stores it in a
buffer, then I display the buffer in a big multiline CEdit box. The problem
is that on many pages I don't get new lines, I just get a thick solid
verticle line kinda like this: || where it should return.
Also, if I view the pages (view source) in Notepad they look fine.
Most pages do that, but interestingly Microsoft pages do the proper new line
and look great in my edit box.
Maybe I have to replace all the \r with \r\n or something like that ? Does a

I want to be able to add horizontal lines to my chart, in this case at 4% and
6% on the y-axis. The solutions I've seen so far suggest to add a series at
these points. The problem is that when I add a seires, my legend shows the
new series when I don't really want them to. Is there a really simple way
that I've overlooked so that I can just add a line at one y-value and all the
x values on the graph and not have it appearing in the legend?

I use a DB tool called RS3 for Excel (now known as
Accord for Excel - owned by Accelrys inc.). This tool
allows you to observe results with cell notes, these

All things being equal, is there any good reason as to why an item would not
appear on the POP Received/Not Invoiced Report one afternoon but land on that
report the next morning?
The item should have been on the report that afternoon. The client says
that the receipt for the item had been posted, prior to that report having
been run that first time. She, also, says that the report option used both
that afternoon and the next morning were the same.
Could it just have been a glitch in the system that prevented the item from
showing on the report that afternoon?

Is there a way to set up a line chart that pulls data from cells with result
formulas in them so they leave the chart data points blank until they are
greater than zero? I don't want zeros showing all the way across the chart
as data is filled in week by week.

I want to use the drop lines with a XY scatter chart, but unfortunately that
option is not available under 'Format Data Series'---->'Options'.
I know that this drop line option is available with other chart types like
'Line', problem is I can't use the Line chart type since it can't correcty

XY charts don't have drop lines, but you can substitute an error bar. Double

...HELP! When printing Invoices from a batch, it is giving me wrong totals.
This happened to me once before, and I can't remember what I had to do
to fix it. For some reason, it seems that my reports.dic was
corrupted, but I can't remember.
We had to print the invoices individually for them to print correctly,
very time consuming.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Money Small Business 2005 crashes after printing. Searched the newsgroups,
but didn't find any relevant solution.
This is often caused by incompatible printer drivers. I would suggest that
you check with the printer manufacturer to see if there's a newer or OLDER
printer driver available. Also, make sure that the driver you're using is
compatible with your version of Windows (XP, 2000, 98, whatever).

the amount to 8. If we cancel 2, the SOP document subtotal and total do not

When we enter an order in great plains, the order is assigned a number. A
packing slip is then generated with the same number. Then when transferred to
an invoice for billing the system assigns an invoice number that is not the
same. How do we maintain the same number through out the process?
Out of the box, there isn't a way to do this.
When you transfer a document from one to the other- the document number to
be used is just pulled from the next invoice number which most likely won't
match your order.
So what you are looking at is that you enter an order with perhaps OR...save invoice data.

two E2k3 servers in a cluster - operating fine. Howerver when I look at AD
users and computers there are no exchange settings for the users. Since
this is the first Exchange cluster I've seen, is this normal?

on creating a chart in Office 2007 that will show how to create a
simple line chart (2-D is fine) that gives flexibility in flipping the
x and y axis? This seems challenging in 2007...
You cannot 'flip' a Line chart. In a Line chart the x axis has category
values and if flipped this would give category values to the y axis which
must have numeric values.
