For creating user-accounts/mailboxes we use Templates. These are disabled
used accounts with no mailbox and some predefined settings like group
membership. When creating users we copy from this Template.
But when you send mail to a Distribution list, the Template-user is also a
member of the list, and Exchange tries to send the mail to this user. But it
doesn't have a valid address and mailbox, so an error is returned for that
user to one using the Distribution list. This brings up all kinds of

Is there a maximum number of addresses an e-mail can be
sent to using Outlook Express? I just sent an e-mail to
many people giving them my new e-mail address and they
apparently did not get it. Yet, the e-mail goes thru if I
send it to one address.

Ask your ISP what their max limit is. It's probably their limit, not OE's.
Also note that recipients' servers may detect your message as spam....I
suggest you use the BCC field for all your recipients.

Delivery Status Notification issue:
Email sent to from an internal use to an internal user is misaddressed.
Sender receives a DSN.
Sender uses Resend button in Outlook.
Sender readdresses messages correctly and resends the message.
Message is received by recipient.

In other words, I setup a user in the domain with a mailbox, now i want to
setup a canon printer to send email using that mailbox. Since there is no way
to enter the email password on the canon printer there has to be a way to
send email out without specifying a password.
Therefore I am trying to find a way to configure it in the Exchange server
so that the Canon does not have to authenticate to the Exchange Server.

If this is numbering attached to headings, note that, by default, the Normal
style will be applied to text when you press Enter (at the end of a
heading). You can change the "Style for following paragraph" in the style
definition for the relevant heading(s).

Having trouble with a user. He routinely types a
person's name in the address field of an email, rather
than going into the TO field. Interestingly, many times
when he types a person's name it will add an email
address once and then it will put a part of the person's
name again, as if it is trying to add the email address a
second time but is unable to accomplish the task.
Does this sound more like an input problem or something
else? I can't replicate the problem on my own machine.

At my company we run MS server 2003 and exchange 5.5. I want to send an
email with an attachment to about 7500 users. we have IBM blade server
with t1 connections. we have distribution list ready to go.
What i want to know is that am i taking any chances in crashing the
system. will this have any effect on the server.
If it crashes the server, something is seriously wrong with the config. It
might slow mail processing slightly, but should work just fine.

Use a lookup formula in the cell with contact information, so it looks up
the appropriate value from a table based on the selection in the dropdown.

I am working on a program to print bills. I designed a report with two
pages, the customer address on page one and the billing info on page two. I
then print it auto duplex in landscape and it works correctly. We then fold
it in half to be mailed like a postcard and the bill is hidden inside. Life

I seem to have two versions of "personal folders" in my Outlook 2003. Only
one of them is used really, I think the other must have been created during a
backup from file or something. Can I merge them together somehow? I tried to
copy the unused one into the other, but it claims that special folders can't

I am not having the ability to search the GAL by anything other than Name
when using "More Columns" (Outlook 2007). Our GAL contains several populated
columns ie phone, title etc. but it is not giving me any results when
searching anything other than Name. Is this something that must be configured

Update: I've just discovered that some of our 2007 clients work fine,

Is there a way to allow someone to print record information from two
different forms with one command button.
Situation is I have a form that has basic information about a contact, user
click on a command button to open a new form if they need additional
"detailed" information about this contact. What I would like to do is on the
second form is have users press a print button that would allow them to print
both forms. At this time the user needs to go to each form and press print.
Both forms are set to stay open.

You have never been able to sort by category because it is a multivalued
field. Instead you group by category.
