Suming Up Time over the course of days
I have a sheet the contains event durations on specific days. Some
days have more than one event. I would like to add up all the event
times for each day on a second sheet and (line) chart the results
The list get longer with each event.

Hi there - I am a new user, have only started using excel 2 days ago but
am really enjoying it. I have managed to create timesheets that
automatically calculate the time spent on a project. Anyway, enjoying
it very much.
So, I have dates running down the left hand column (A), eg, 05.10.05.
Currently I am inputting these by hand because if I drag that cell down
it creates 05.10.06, 05.10.07 etc. I have messed with the 'custom'
setting and changed it to 'dd.mm.yy' but this has not solved it.
Any help much appreciated.
By the way, it's excel 2001 for mac.

I have a small nursing agency database with two main tables: NURSE and
HOSPITAL. In between is a junction table WORKSHIFT. A nurse can work a
shift at any one of a number of hospitals.
My difficulty is in calculating the pay. A workshift could begin on a
Friday afternoon and not finish till Sunday. Thus the shift would include
some hours worked at WeekdayDayRate, some at WeekdayNightRate, SatDayRate,
SatNightRate, SunNightRate, SunDayRate. (I am assuming that all shifts start
and finish "on the hour").

All the routing looks good, I have the new MX pointing to the domain of my
external port on my firewall. And the new domain is added into Exchange.

Hi. I am trying to assign a set of values, in separate fields ,to a each
selection from a drop-down list in Excel (using data validation). What I am
trying to do is very smilar to, say, to selecting a SKU from a list and
having the product description, unit price etc. fill into their corresponding
fields automatically. For example, I pick SKU "11111" from a drop-down list
to fill the SKU field, then, automatically, "5-inch widget" comes up in the
product description field and "$5.00" shows up in the unit price field.

I am thinking about blocking SMTP on my primary mailbox server with the
exception of our AD servers and MX gateway. I recently was approached by a
developer who was having problems with an app smtp'ing directly to our
primary mail server. Apparently they were trying SMTP servers at random :x

I have a mailbox that I need to set a policy on to delete any messages over
two days old. Now, targeting the inbox itself is easy - I figured that out.
The problem is that there is a subfolder under the inbox called "good stuff"

I have been receiving my MSN email on Outlook using Verizon DSL and a
verizon/MSN program. Last week, verizon dropped the MSN service (I still
