Restoring Public Folders
I accidenatlly deleted the Puclic Folders. What's the best way to restore them. A recovery server? If you know who deleted and have sufficient permission you can try recovering deleted items from Outlook client. Otherwise then yes, recovery server is the way to go. amyma@online.microsoft.com Please do not send email directly to this alias. This alias is for newsgroup purposes only. Due to problems with replication and with me fiddling about with settings I have managed to get half my Public folder heirarchy replicated to a remote site. I have to add the replica in on the remaining folders which is fine, I can do that manually as I have with the first half. However, I would like ALL public folders to automatically be added to the replica when I add the folder on any of my sites. Can someone please advise whether this is the default action or whether I must aded the replica manually each time that I add a new public folder. many thanks, jON Have you seen this ...

Migrating Public Folders
I have a box running ES5.5 and I am trying to migrate all of the data to a box running ES2003. I have sucessfully migrated the mailboxes (i think) and am wanting to migrate the public folders. What is the easiest way to do this? Since I just bought SBS 2003 Premium, would I be able to get tech support through MS for free? TIA Scott Since SBS is in the mix, I assume the Exchange environments are separate. I would suggest you Export the PF data into a PST within Outlook and then Import it into your new environment. -- Nick Cavalancia MCSE/MCT/MCNE/MCNI nickc@remove-comsphere.com Co...

New Mailbox
I have our Human Resources person who already has an exchange mailbox associated with her user name. What I want to do is set up a milbox for responses to a job advertisement to be set up. Is the only way to do this is to create a user name in active directory and an associated mailbox. I'm assuming since Exchange 2003 is fully AD integrated you can't create a mailbox without a user name.
