Problkems with timing on meeting requests...

This is kind of bizarre and hopefully easy to fix... We are using the
Outlook 2002 client with Exchange 2000.

One of our users who has been sending meeting requests to other users. has
just informed me that when the requested user gets the meeting request, the
requested times are exactly an hour LATER than what she had set the meeting
for. (the time on her machine is perfect)

Also, when someone sends her a meeting request (vice-versa), the times show
up on her Outlook client an hour EARLIER than they should be.

What can I look for to correct this issue? It's seems fine for everyone
else and she just received a new PC on which I installed a fresh copy of
Outlook 2002. It's probably been screwed up since then...

Thanks,

Brad

As T has suggested, double-check the timezone on the PC, especially whether
or not it is correctly set to adjust for daylight savings time or not as
well as checking the Time Zone setting in Outlook under the Calendar
options in Tools, Options.

This most commonly is seen when the Daylight Savings Time setting is not
set correctly, as Outlook takes the Universal Time (UTC/GMT) value from the
actual entry and translates it to the time zone set on the client. Since
DST changes that translation by an extra hour, it not being set right is
commonly the cause.

I have the same issue as described here. The time zone is not the
problem here. I posted this in a separate thread, but I'll post here
also. You can see that the meeting request contains 2 different times.
When I accept, the sender gets a response saying I accepted an hour
earlier than the actual acceptance time.

"I have the same problem with one of my clients. The check box above
is
checked.
In the meeting request, the system generated text has the correct
time, while the "header" has the time plus one hour. I mean by this
that the body is like this...

When: June 30, 2004 5:00 PM-5:30 PM (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time (US &
Canada); Tijuana.

While the header says this...

Subject: Time test 2

When: June 30, 2004 6:00 PM-6:30 PM."

Request Current
Hi! I've have an asp.net application that calls a backend service hosted in IIS using WCF. I'm having some performance issues that seems to be related to hitting the maximum number of connections. My initial question is: The Request Current counter in ASP.NET never drops to zero. It gets stuck at a minimum of 1-4. When the counter goes up to about 19-20 the application locks. It looks like its the backend service that locks up since other applications get a timeout calling other methods. Should the Request Current counter drop to zero or is it normal that it sta...

Hi all. I know that this question was asked before, but this seems a little different. How to track meetings for a task?
How would you suggest to charge meeting time to a my Timesheet task? TIA! Depends on if it's a planned meeting or informal. I typically just create a bucket task through the entire schedule for "Meetings" or book it to PM time. You may also opt to create a distinct line item bucket task for status meetings as opposed to other ad hoc meetings. If it's a big phase gate meeting, I may list that specifically as a line item, but for anything less than that, it becomes too granular for effective management. - Andrew Lavinsky Blog: http://blogs.catapultsystems...
