Issue running ldf script

I have followed article 314649, preventing mangled attributes. I ran the
script and the logs indicate that it has been successful in modify the
attributes: CN=ms-Exch-Assistant-Name, CN=ms-Exch-LabeledURI, and
CN=ms-Exch-House-Identifier to the lDAPDisplayName: msExchAssistantName,
msExchLabeledURI, and msExchHouseIdentifier respectively. I ran the script
numerious time and each time the log states that the modifications were
successful. However, when I use ADSI edit to view these attributes under the
Schema container, the attributes still shows the hypens. It was suggested
that I used ADSI edit to make the change directly. I really am not to
familiar with using ADSI edit to make the change. Is it as simple as
entering the correct value in the? When I select the ATTRIBUTES tab I have
to drop down box to select: SELECT WHICH PROPERTY TO VIEW and the other
option is SELECT A PROPERTY TO VIEW. Under the second box, there are
numerious selection to pick. Which is/are the correct property to select for
editing?

When you go to the properties of that attribute, select Both from the "which
properties to view" - you can select Mandatory if you want and it will
include a shorted list. Under the Select Property to view, select
LDAPDisplayName. It should show msExchAssistantName. The actual CN of the
attribute won't change, just the LDAP display name. If it is incorrect,
then type in the correct value in the Edit Attribute field and apply it. My
guess is that when you look at this property value, it will be the new,
correct value.

Could you tell me if I am on the right path? Upon reviewing your response, I
checked the Select Property To View, select LDAPDisplayName and three
attributes appeared without the hypen. However, the hypen still show in the
section on the right-hand panel under Name, Class, and Distinguished Name,
its basically the CN. From reading your response these display do not
change, correct?

Right. The only thing that changes is the ldap display name. As long as
that particular property has been correctly modified, looks like you are
good to go. The actual CN will not change.

WSE 3.0 Kerberos Auth and issue with Windows XP ASPNET Account
I am using WSE 3.0 with Visual Studio 2005, specifically I'm using Kerberos authentication and passing Kerberos ticket from Presentation Tier (VSTO.2005 client) to Server Tier through our Web Services (based on WSE 3.0). Having our WSE 3.0-WebService over Windows Server 2003, everything works great, but, over Windows XP, I have a problem (which is documented in WSE 3.0 help) but its workaround does not work properly (at least with my current testing). Strange email issue #2
I am running Exchange 2003 SP1. I had a user send two emails from Outlook 2003 and both emails never reached their recipients. The recipients are in the same site as the sender. I opened up Message Tracker this morning and I could not find the emails. I checked the persons Sent Items and both emails were in there. One email was sent at 8:25a.m. and the other was sent at 5:01p.m. These are the only two emails I know of that did not reach their recipients so far from this sender. I have been through Message Tracker, looked in the queues and Event Viewer and have found nothing. Bot...

Payables issue with Applied Payments and Void Check
Hi, We had a user a number of months ago apply a number of Credit Memos from a vendor to a large invoice while creating a check. Apparently the check was then void, without a normal check number leaving us with "REMIT0000000000xx" as the reference to it. We now have a situation where the large invoice and all of the credits are still showing in the system as open. The individual credit memos do not show as having amounts applied, but when we try to apply them we're told that the amount is already applied. Everything seems to be stuck in limbo, with no way to post to resol...

Can RMS run on virtual machines?
Our IT staff has suggested to me that for our next retail store, we use a Windows server with VMWare, create the registers as virtual machines, and use thin clients at the point-of-sale rather than full-blown PCs. This is intented to be a money-saving measure, and is in line with our corporate vision of making as much use of virtual machines running on our back-office servers as possible. I've run RMS on virtual server before, but only in a test environment, creating a single virtual register and testing it on a PC, never in a production environment with thin clients running over a...

Customer Service Workflow Issues
We are looking at the possibility of using MSCRM as a customer support tool to go along with our sales/marketing use. The more I look into it, the more I see the problems with us going this way. The benefit we would get is one view of the customer. Here is the workflow I see for a typical customer support case using MS CRM: 1) A customer sends an email to support@mydomain.com and it ends up in the technical support queue 2) Periodically the queue is checked for new messages (there doesn't appear to be a way to send a notification email).
