Exchange 2003 and Recipient policy

Hi

Does anyone have any ideas, how to create recipient policies using vbscript
or some other scripting languages?

If there is a possibility (using scripts) to create a new recipient policy
or copying existing one and renaming it, please let me know :)

I have looked everywhere, but haven't found anything useful..

With best regards,
Martin

Exchange Services group
While in OWA, I was able to look at my mail thru the net. I then typed in another users login and was able to get into their email without being prompted for a password. At first I thought we had a major security problem. I then asked some other people in my department if they could do the same but they were prompted for passwords. In researching this, I found that myself and two other people were a part of the Exchange Services group. When I took one person out of this group, they were not able to get into other peoples email thru webmail. My mgr is in a frenzy now. She doesn...

Question on multiple NICs used by Exchange 2003
I have a requirement to bind four virtual SMTP servers to unique IP addresses. The server has four NICs and each IP address is uniquely bound to a virtual SMTP server. I used telnet to confirm that the appropriate virtual SMTP server responds to each assigned IP address. In case you are wondering why I did not use virtual IP addresses- Per Microsoft, the virtual IP address schema will not satisfy our requirement that the same IP address be used for sending (relaying) the e-mail that received it. Their recommendation was to have a NIC for each virtual SMTP server. The problem that I am ex...

Can't send e-mails from Outlook 2003 after SP1
After installing service pack SP1 for Office 2003, I can't send e-mails anymore. They are stuck in the outbox folder. The error message states that the connection to the server was interrupted. I did not change any settings and checking them confirms that everything is as it should be. Did anyone else experience the same issue and how did you resolve it? Thanks for your help Matthias See if you can manually move those messages from your Outbox and then check all your settings again. Outlook 2003 #217

When I re-installed Outlook 2003, applied the SP1a patch, and setup me email, etc. I know have 3 choices of contracts to choose from, from the dropdown box. The first 2 give an error, when I type in a name to send an email to, where as the 3rd choice (and they are all named contacts), allows me to see my list of contact email addresses. How can I correct this? I would like to clean this up by just having one Contact choice, whereas the list of my contacts would appear when I choose send mail to option. ...

Exchange 2003 can't connect to SMTP on internal IP address
We have Exchange 2003 server no service packs. This has 2 IP addresses used for SMTP. We were looking to lockdown our Exchange server to only allow mail from our email provider. After setting this up we thought it would be better to do this at the firewall level, so we undid the changes we made. The changes were as follows: Created a global accept list Created a global deny list Created connection filter to an SMTP virtual server No reboot took place during this. When undoing the change we removed the IP list before the virtual SMTP server. This may have caused the problems out...

How to evaluate disk spaces for integrating Exchange with CRM 3.0
Dears, As I know, it is a big selling-point for integrating Exchange with CRM 3.0. However, the activities among Exchange and CRM seems to be very traditional. Exchange just forward emails to CRM and save to CRM's SQL DB. It's now a problem that the activities always replicate and replicate emails, and eat out of the disk space. How to improve the situation? Thx. It should not eat up server space. Ok. Some mail are stored both in Exchange and CRM. But this is basically why you want a CRM system.... Let me give a little more explanation. The CRM Exchange E-mail router, if ...

Disable OWA via group policy
I know you can go to the properties of an individual user account and disable their ability to connect via OWA. But is there a way to set this in group policy, instead of having to do it on individual users? I am not sure about the group policy question but if you have Windows 2003 you can mass edit this attribute using AD users and computers. I had to do this one time to prevent a disgrunteled (spelling?) employee from deleting email. We disabled OWA for all users temporarily until we could get everyones password changed. Cheers Wouldn't it have been easier to disable the disgruntl...

New Exchange 2003: Importing Outlook Mailboxes
We have just installed a new Exchange 2003 into our network. Previously we had webmail accounts that we configured the Outlooks to pop and download all emails to their local machine. I have searched to find out how I can import all of the old emails by exporting to a .pst file. The only thing that seems to come up is the ExMerge utility, but, this states it is for importing mailboxes from one Exchange server to another.
