Delivery status notification not sent to external users

When external users send messages with the "Request Delivery Receipt.."
option, the message is delivered successfully, but a DSN success message is
not sent back to the sender.

Delivery receipts are generated correctly on messages sent between internal
users. External users do recieve NDR's for mail that is mis-addressed and
also receive read receipts correctly.

Under Global Settings, Internet Message Formats, Default format (that is the
only format), Advanced tab, I've selected the Allow Delivery Reports option.
I've tried toggling the settings on this tab in between Routing Engine and
SMTP service restarts, but no joy. System is Exch 2003 on W2K3.

Any suggesting on what I may be overlooking?

HTTP status 401: Unauthorized error
We developed an application using the crm SDK web services. When we access the application, we get an error: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized. If we refresh the page again (hitting F5), we do not get the error. It seems that the first time CRM authentication fails but the second time it is ok (on refresh). We have MS CRM 3.0 deployed on Windows 2003 server using IIS 6.0. The custom application is using windows authentication and is on the same server as CRM in a virtual directory. Any ideas? New user question on Pie Charts
Hi, Just got started on Mloney 2006. I pay almost everything by credit catrd and then pay it off at the end of the month to get the 2 percent rebate. However in the pie charts showing all my expenses the expenses take up 50% of the pie chart but are distorted by the fact that my bank transfer to pay the card is treated as an expense so the credit card is 50% also when actually the credit card expenses already show up all correctly categorized. How do I astop this? I used category "bank transfer/cc" to pay the credit card (which ultimately paid all other expenses. -- ATB ...

IMAP email missing sent, drafts

Setting User Security
I can't believe that in a world of compliance driven by acts such as Sarbanes Oxley that Great Plains immediately grants system access to a new users upon setup. This is absolutely insane. User Access should automatically default to having no rights and the user security should be modified to allow you to mark or unmark more than one item at a time. much like the bank reconciliation process. It was a nightmare! I also think that the security screen should separate items under the function such as tools (setup and utilities), transactions, inquires and cards so I don't have to...

Moderated public folder won't accept posts from Win 2K users
Hi I'd appreciate any suggestions ... I have a moderated public folder acting as a contacts database. When users post to the folder, the 'moderate folder' rule diverts the post into a separate public folder that is visible only to the moderators. One of the moderators checks the post and then moves it into the contacts database folder. This worked fine until I upgraded some PCs from Win 98 to 2000 Pro. Posts from users on Win 2K go straight into their Drafts folder, not into either the openly visible or the hidden public folders. The same users have no problem if they work from ...

populating address list from external ldap
We are going to be migrating to exchange 2003 over the next few months and we need to populate an address list with addresses from an external ldap server. The large organisation that we do the majority of our business with uses Groupwise and Netware, we currently look up their users email addresses by querying their ldap server. What we would like to do is to populate an address list in our new exchange 2003 deployment with addresses from thier ldap server. cheers Kerry Kerry- You're not going to be able to do this natively. Folders, My Computer, My Documents, Control Panel won't open on 2 out of 4 users
I just came from my Dad's computer and while downloading/installing some Windows Updates (Net Framework SP 2 patches, etc) the machine ground to a halt so I had to hard reboot. Now folders, Control Panel, My Documents, My Computer, Explorer.exe, etc. won't open and they lock up the machine if I try, then I have to hard reboot again. This affects at least 2 of the 4 Users on the XP Pro machine, I don't know why. I went to File Types in one user & tried to enable .exe but it won't let me click Apply so something isn't working there. I saw a YouTube video wh...

Mail Enabled Users vs. Mail enabled contacts......
I am needing to create a distribution group in our GAL of external people for my AD users to email. What is the difference between Mail Enabled users vs Mail enabled contacts. I am not sure which one to use? HELP For external users, you need to create mail-enabled Contacts. Contacts exist only so they can show up in the Address Book/GAL (they can be hidden, though... ) and everyone in the Org can email them. Mail-enabled users are users that have mail residing on an external system - they are security principals and can log-on to the Domain - Contacts can't. -- Bharat Suneja MCSE...

SENT ITEMS
Hi, When accessing MS CRM via internet explorer and I click 'Send E-mail' on an Account record the email gets sent but it is not appearing in my Sent Items folder in Outlook. Has anyone else experienced this? Surely this can't be how the system is designed to work. Thanks Lee Lee The only integration with Outlook occurs if you are sending mail from the SFO client. Even then it does not place a copy of the eMail in the Sent Items, but does update contacts, tasks etc. What you are seeing is by design, no integration with Outlook happens when you send mail from the browser ...

Incorrect Mailbox Size/Item Count for User
Hello, We began receiving warnings that our mailbox store was reaching its maximum size so I asked our users to start cleaning up their mailboxes to reduce the size. For the most part this has worked. Unfortunately, this did not work for one user. He has since deleted many of his e-mails, but the Exchange System Manager is still reporting that he has 18,000+ items. I looked at his e-mail folders and there is no way that this could be the case. If I had to estimate I would say 3000-4000 tops. I even checked and he deleted all the recoverable "deleted items" the ...

Review Budget Status Problems
The "Review your current budget status" screen shows incorrect amounts in the Budgeted column. However when I click on "Edit Budget" and go through the categories I set up, all the amounts are accurate. 2 things are happening: 1. Several categories are showing $0.00 for budgeted amount when there is actually a dollar amount budgeted. (The Actual column is accurate). 2. Some categories show a double or tripled amount under the budgeted column. For example, rent is showing at $2,200 in the Budgeted column instead of $1,100 that is actually budgeted. Please help...

Disabling Items in User Interface
I am trying to use Group Policy to lock down Office installations. Word and Excel have the option of "Disable items in user interface" defined in the .adm templates on the ORK. Publisher does not have this in the .adm file. I am able to get the Control IDs that I want to block, but can't figure how to get it into the .adm template properly. I have tried duplicating the efforts of the Word11.adm and Excel11.adm files. I am able to see the option and set the option in Group Policy, but it does not apply. My guess is that I have the registry path incorrect; does anyo...

This message has not yet been submitted for delivery (EMail Router Workflow)
I have CRM 4.0 and an external Exchange/SMTP host. The Email router is installed and I believe working. All tests complete successfully. Also - I can create a new Activity --> Email and receive an email message via CRM4 no problem. I created a workflow that is supposed to send an Email to the customer when a case is resolved. When I create a test case and resolve it - the email appears in Pending Queue. When I double click the Email it says "This message has not yet been submitted for delivery." There are no errors in the WIn Event Log. My outgoing messages are set to Email Rout...

Global Address list with external contacts

Breaking User Form Code into modules question
I have a user form with alot of code in it. As of now all the code is in the Userform Code window, but there is so much code that it's getting confusing. I have one Sub that is to large and needs to be split into several subs. When I was done I was going to break all the Subs down into different modules to clean it up. I guess I will have to do that now, but I am not sure how to do it. 1: My question is in the UserForm Code Window how do I refer to a module? 2: If the Code is to large can one Module call another module?
