Delivery Restriction for DL

Using Ex55, I have not been able to restrict users from
sending to our all employee DL. It works for our 'site',
restricting users on the "Delivery Restrictions" tab, but
we replicate our entire address book to other sites. The
other sites can send to our all employee DL, which is not
a desirable feature.

Define "sites".

There's no need to replicate your "entire address book" because the
directory information (of which the recipients are a part) is
replicated between sites by the Directory Replication Connectors.

Restricting a User to only Vendors in a Certain Class
Hello, Has anyone attempted to restrict a user to only see vendors in a certain class? This would be for Transaction Entry or Inquiry windows. The user will not have access to the Vendor Cards. We do have Field Level Security available. One of the biggest problem I am running into is if the user types in the exact vendor id for a vendor that is not in the class they have been assigned, it will pull up the vendor and they will be able to enter in a transaction for that vendor. I understand that this might be a very complex task we have to undertake, but I just wanted to make sure...

Restricting query data
I have a query set so I pull DISTINCT dates in the SQL from 1/1/08 thru 12/31/08 to take out duplicate accounts, this works great when I run the report quarterly or yearly but I need to run this report monthly. I have 3 tables that work together and these dates are coming from my Activities table, I keep track of when I have had contact with them. I am looking to only count these people 1 time in a year (filter by start date does not work is it is driven by actibvity date) for example if I work with them in 1/08 run my report in 1/08 they should show up. If I work with them in 2/0...

Exchange Delivery Restrictions
This should be simple, but just cant seem to get it right... I am running Windows 2000 Server with Exchange 2000, and have tried connecting with both outlook 2003 and XP. I configured delivery restrictions on a per user basis, to limit only outgoing mail. All was fine untill I had to allow a specific user to send larger emails than what was originally configured. No matter what I configure the limit to be, the one I originally set remains. What happens exactly? After you save new limit it reverts back to the old one? or user still can't send big messages? Have you checked SMTP server...

Exchange 5.5 IMS Services awaiting Delivery
Hello, I have several emails queued for delivery. I am unable to delete them. Many are from well over a year ago. Delivery Status Notification #4
One of our subsidiaries is getting frequent but inconsistant delivery errors when sending e-mail to us. To our knowledge, they are the only ones that have this issue. According to them, they only have this problem with us. We use Exchange Server 2003, SP2 - all current exchange and windows patches. They use a linux email program, sorry I do not have specifics on it. The notification they get is as follows: - These recipients of your message have been processed by the mail server: userid@domain.com; Failed; 5.3.0 (other or undefined mail system status) Remote MTA smtp-relay.pbi.net:...

Restricting message delivery by top level domain

Outlook 2003: Setting Delivery Order
In outlook 2000 there is an option under Tools > Services > Delivery that lets you set what order Outlook tries to send outgoing messages, which we had set to use Exchange first, then roll to our Internet E-mail server at our host. This made it so that when we forwarded messages internally, they went through exchange instead of back out to our POP accounts. In Outlook 2003, I can't find where to set any options like this. What is happening is when someone receives something via POP and tries to forward it internally, it goes back through POP instead of through Exchange. Anyone have...

Messages in the deferred delivery queue following MS article Q315631

No Delivery Receipts after latest SMTP patch
Hi, Hopefully someone can shed some light on this issue we are having. We recently patched our Exchange 2000 servers with SP3 and the SMTP patch referenced in MS 03-046. After applying the patch, we no longer receive Delivery receipts for emails sent between our servers (both in the same Organization). Read receipts work with no problem, and if you send a message to a user on the same server, delivery receipts work. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
