You can't do this on your server. What antispam software are you using or
trying to use?

"This May Be Spam!"
We have an End User who, when sending to an individual at another company, has his email flagged "This May Be Spam!". (It's not Spam by any means - it is legit email). I vaguely recall this as being Exchange's way of marking what it feels is potential Spam and I believe the recipients organization is using Exchange. Can anyone confirm this? Thank you. How do I stop outlook 2003 from addng SPAM to every message in my
I imported all my messages from Express to Outlook. I am trying to use outlook instead. It adds the word SPAM to the beginning of all my messages when I open them and then keeps this at the beginning of the subject name when I go to forward or attach the email to another one. I have turned off the SPAM filter and it still does this. It even adds SPAM to messages I am sending. Stopping Spam #2
Spammers are in it for the money. So they send spam. The thing is....for anyone to profit from the spam there has to be somewhere to go to spend the money. Either a website, email address, phone number, etc. Someone has to collect some money. I'm not understanding why the spammer can't be caught. To stay in business (to keep sending spam) there has to be some money made by the spammer. Or he would quit doing it. And there has to be a transaction by someone, somewhere. There's the arrest. There's the link. What's the problem? Um, what's the Outlook question? -...

Open the item to read its contents. As this mail is spam (and also I think it's a virus), I did not open it to read it, but just wanted to delete it, wich I can't. I get the message: Unknown error. I also cannot move it to a different location and I have the problem only with this mail, explicitely. Any other mail behaves normally. Can anyone help me? Many thanks. Outlook 2003 and SPAM filter, does it work with IMAP, or only with POP3
Hi, I am wondering this functionality of SPAM filter in Outlook 2003. I 1st try to configure my email boxes with POP3 (I have tree box that I read), and the problem with POP3 is that it does not understand the folders in IMAP (I quess so). It neither does not separate different inbox emails (from different systems), but puts them all to one inbox folder (Outlooks own one). The SPAM filter also seems to work, and it cleans up most of the SPAM mails. If I use IMAP, I like it more, it leaves all my tree email inboxes as separate inbox under each email account configuration. But now the mails a...

outlook 2003 custom rules and spam filtering
I'm trying to set up rules to move emails from different accounts to different folders. The rules work fine except that spam filtering is not being processed on the accounts that get moved. In other words, I have one "main" account that I have go to the inbox - it has the spam rules apply. The other "secondary" rules go to specific folders - they do not have the spam being processed. Sounds like my custom rule is pre-empting the spam filter rule(s). Is there a way to chain the two together so that spam filtering happens first and then the mover (or vice versa ...

spam count
Hey folks, I make use of Exchange 2003 and IMF. I used to have client-side spam filtering, but am fairly impressed with the robustness of IMF. However, one annoyance I have is that spam items are counted in Outlook 2003.
