Calendar sharing #3

Hello all,

the current exchange setup is as follows:

1. domain A.... is windows 2000, with exchange 5.5 and is hosted in
Organization A

2. domain B .... is windows 2003, with exchange 2003 and is hosted in
Organization B

Is there a way for users from both domains to access the other's calendar
( for example, user 1 in domain A wants to access user 2 in domain B)?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Diana

Hi Diana,

You may consider the InterOrg Replication Utility to accomplish this. Read
more about it here:

Best of luck,
Colby

Default Calendar Permissions
Is there a way to globally change the default Calendar permissions so that they are initially viewable by everyone? We are running Exchange 2003 SP2 and Outlook 2003. I don't think there is. Am I correct? You may be able to use PFDavAdmin for this... Export all the permissions for all the mailboxes, then modify the resulting file and re-import. It will sure be a heck of a lot quicker than doing all by hand! FYI - I just did this myself and confirmed that it works. Removing last 5.5 server #3
I have upgraded our Exchange organization to 2003. All mailboxes, public folders, and connectors have been relocated to the new server and all is working well. I have worked through the kb article 822450 to remove the 5.5 server, but ran into a concerning issue when I tried to actually delete the old server. CRM2Exchange: client or server driven in 3.0
Hello, if I recall it, crm sync to outlook was in fact driven by the SFO-client/outlook. Now, I have been questioned about using pda "pocket outlook" directly connected to exchange by whatever high speed wireless network or internet connection, thus allowing a service technician to retrieve new (crm-) mails and appointments while travelling (without needing to "synch" his SFO before). Does this scenario work with the way crm to exchange connection is made in 3.0? Thanks! Achim ...

Is Office Clipboard shared between users or just applications?
Background for the question -- if a signle user on a machine, and that one user simultaneously has open 5 Excel sessions , the office clipboard is shared. And I believe the clipboard is "single threaded". That is, even in principle if the user could simultaneously copy/paste in the multiple applications using the Office Clipboard (perhaps by running programs driving Excel), in reality it would not be simultaneous (even on a multiprocessor machine) but would be bottlenecked in the Office Clipboard. But the question is -- if 5 users, were all accessing Excel but each user was o...
