Difference in the listing of the New module addition in 2002 version
I have Excel 2002 at home and also at work.
At home when I add a new module (using Insert module) Then it gets listed
under "VBAProject (Book1)" and it is in the same tree node as "Sheet1
(Sheet1)", "Sheet2 (Sheet2)" , "Sheet3 (Sheet3)" "This Workbook". There is
no separate "Microsoft Excel objects" folder.
While at Work when I insert a new Module it gets added under a folder called
Module which is basically part of the tree node "VBAProject (Book1)". Also
at work I have a separate "Microsoft Excel objects"...Pivot Table Data Fields Won't Total
I'm trying to create a chart to display 3 categories
(ATM,VRU,WWW). I get the Data from a SQL script which I
then import into an Excel spreadsheet. One of the columns
is numbers and I format the column as "Number" with two
decimal places. When I create the Pivot Table only one of
the criteria fields (ATM)will give me a total. The other
two fields keep amounting to zero. I've even tried to skip
the Pivot Chart and just insert Sub-Totals into the
spreadsheet choosing to insert the total after each change

I have a pivot that I've connected to our SQL db using the MS Query. I'm
having two problems with it:
1. In Access I create a date range to see dates between 3 and 15months ago
with the SQL statement "
WHERE (Trx.TrxDate) Between (Date()-485) AND (Date()-120)"
- no problem in Access but not the MS Query program. When I do it through
the Excel MS Query it says the Function 'date' is not valid. How do I
describe the current date in the MS Query program?
2. In the same wizard I cannot combine two fields (in Access I would use
Expr1: [Field1]&", "...Delete row if value cobtains a dot
I have two types of values in a column. One that contains a value with a dot
(GB2-E0031.02) and one that does not contain a value with a dot (GB2-E0031) I
would like to delete the whole row If the value in column B does not contain
a dot (.)

I had 2 reports that use different row format and different column format
eg: repor1 is using row1 and col1, where as report2 is using row2 and col2.
How can I transfer a partiulcar calculated result from report1 to report2 as
report2 uses that value in some calculation.
If this is in Report Writer then I would say No but if its in Crystal Reports
then you can copy the formula.

I have a table of date, deposit, withdrawal, balance, and some other
columns. Previously if I entered a date in the next row, the
formulas automatically propagated themselves to hat new row; now hey
don't. I don't know what I did to cause that change, but I'd be
grateful for guidance.
I tried resizing the able to contain all the existing rows, but that
didn't help: when I add a new row the formulas still don't copy from
the row above.

h...Screen View differs from Print preview
I know this is basic, but I REALLY need help.
I have a colum with text wrapping selected. As I type in the cells,
two things happen.
1) It might be on three lines on the screen, but when I print preview
it is only on two. It is as if the print preview cell in larger.
2) Also, words may not show up on the screen in the cell, but when I
print preview they are there.
i just want what I see on the screen to match what is on print
preview. Any suggestions would help.

print a report from an open table, they get "An open operator on table
GL_Account_MSTR has an incorrect number of keys" Then I get a second window
that says "Table Open Error". Other users work fine. I tried copying the

Is the maximum column name IV ?
If i open a workbook and right arrow until it stops, that's the column name
If i try Insert column it doesn't change so i'm guessing that's the maximum?
likewise max row appears to be 65536?

If you are certain that you are the only user, close Access and delete the
