Pivot table, calculating % difference of subtotal rows

This is what I need to do: I have rows of data in a pivot table that
have subtotals associated with them (automatically generated via the
pivot table). I need to to take the subtotals for 2009 and 2010 and
calculate the % difference.

Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about:

Is this even possible or am I going to have to do this manually?

Difference in the listing of the New module addition in 2002 version
Hi, I have Excel 2002 at home and also at work. At home when I add a new module (using Insert module) Then it gets listed under "VBAProject (Book1)" and it is in the same tree node as "Sheet1 (Sheet1)", "Sheet2 (Sheet2)" , "Sheet3 (Sheet3)" "This Workbook". There is no separate "Microsoft Excel objects" folder. While at Work when I insert a new Module it gets added under a folder called Module which is basically part of the tree node "VBAProject (Book1)". Also at work I have a separate "Microsoft Excel objects"...

Pivot Table Data Fields Won't Total
Hello, I'm trying to create a chart to display 3 categories (ATM,VRU,WWW). I get the Data from a SQL script which I then import into an Excel spreadsheet. One of the columns is numbers and I format the column as "Number" with two decimal places. When I create the Pivot Table only one of the criteria fields (ATM)will give me a total. The other two fields keep amounting to zero. I've even tried to skip the Pivot Chart and just insert Sub-Totals into the spreadsheet choosing to insert the total after each change in criteria type; but still only one type of criteria will ...

Creating Date Range in Pivot Microsoft Query
I have a pivot that I've connected to our SQL db using the MS Query. I'm having two problems with it: 1. In Access I create a date range to see dates between 3 and 15months ago with the SQL statement " WHERE (Trx.TrxDate) Between (Date()-485) AND (Date()-120)" - no problem in Access but not the MS Query program. When I do it through the Excel MS Query it says the Function 'date' is not valid. How do I describe the current date in the MS Query program? 2. In the same wizard I cannot combine two fields (in Access I would use Expr1: [Field1]&", "...

How do you setup in Active Directory for Windows 2003 server a group policy for an OU whose users are located on the east coast when the AD is located in Phoenix so that their time zones are reflective of their location for Outlook calendars, reminders, emails, etc....? Thus if I'm in New York and want to schedule a 4:00pm meeting with someone in Phoenix where the meeting time for them will be 1:00pm and we both are using the same AD on the same server but under different OUs how do we get Outlook calendar to schedule the meeting for each of their respective time z...

Outlook 2003 from SBS different from Office 2003?
I have an SBS2003 server installed and distributed the Outlook2003 that came with it to my clients, while the other office applications still ran the 2000 version. Last week, we installed the office 2003 suite and I disabled the installation of Outlook 2003, since it was already installed. Next I installed the Rights Management Server and the client. All Office applications now have the Permissions icon, except Outlook. I have looked through every single setting, but could not find how to enable it. This leads me to conclude that the SBS outlook 2003 version might be different from t...

how do I combine two forms with different size columns to make on.
I built two forms to make one as I cannot control the difference in columns sizes. Now I cannot merge the two forms to make one. Is this possible or have I wasted hours. I am fairly new to forms. Thank you Hi not sure what you mean by "forms", if you're talking about laying information out in a worksheet, then you can not change column sizes within the same column ... ie the size of column A is applicable to all 65536 rows. However, a "workaround" is to merge adjacent cells (format / cells - alignment tab, merge cells) ... however, merging cells can cause pr...

Restore Database to new server with different name. Is it possible?
I have a situation where we need to go back to view old information from an exchange backup (server A) from 3 months ago. (Server A) is still online. Of course I know I am going to need to build exchange on another server but does this temp exchange server need to have the same name as (server A) for me to view the data? Monica: Yes, it's possible and commonly done. No, you don't need to have the same server name, or even the same domain name. Please refer to http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/ for articles on restoring Exchange. Regards, Martin "Monica White" <an...

Table no longer copies formulas to new rows
It's 32-bit Excel 2010. I have a table of date, deposit, withdrawal, balance, and some other columns. Previously if I entered a date in the next row, the formulas automatically propagated themselves to hat new row; now hey don't. I don't know what I did to cause that change, but I'd be grateful for guidance. I tried resizing the able to contain all the existing rows, but that didn't help: when I add a new row the formulas still don't copy from the row above. -- Stan Brown, Oak Road Systems, Tompkins County, New York, USA h...

I know this is basic, but I REALLY need help. I have a colum with text wrapping selected. As I type in the cells, two things happen. 1) It might be on three lines on the screen, but when I print preview it is only on two. It is as if the print preview cell in larger. 2) Also, words may not show up on the screen in the cell, but when I print preview they are there. i just want what I see on the screen to match what is on print preview. Any suggestions would help. Thanks. This is a problem with Excel, Jennifer, and I don't think there is a good answer. Excel's text wrap is just n...
