Import External Data #3

In Excel 2003 (XP) I have set up a few stocks that I update thru Data, 
Import External Data, Edit Query, Import. Is there any way to add a couple 
of indecies like the Dow Average to this edit?

The easiest way for me has been to setup multiple Web Queries, but have them 
coming into a garbage sheet somewhere, so I can just pull it all down.

Then I use cell references to organize the data over onto a Display Sheet 
that has thing the way I want to see them. You could get your additional 
stuff tucked in easily the way you want, and formatted to your tastes.

You don't show your url's or code. With Yahoo you can use tags to get all 
desired in a string to parse with text to columns and picking what you want.

jumping data
hi i have a form which shows customer details, and this has a subform where you can enter the date and notes about the customer. the subform is in a datasheet view. so everytime you want to add some notes about the customer, you enter the date and write the notes. there are many customers on the database, and we make quite a few notes for each customer. Outlook client for CRM V3
We have a client who has users who want to make changes to the 'my contacts' local data group, so they sync their Outlook contacts with CRM. They all use the desktop client. But the save button is greyed out. They have a CRM role assigned with the Outlook sync permission and they have local admin rights. I've also checked they have write permissions to the C:\Documents and Settings\User.Name\Application Data\Microsoft\MSCRM folder and it's subfolders. What else could be disabling the save option? In Excel 2000, I have a spreadsheet that the filter worked fine. I used it for a lot of "contains" filtering. It now appears that since I've added additional text to some cells, when I do a filter, I'm not seeing all the unique values in the drop down filter list. Does anyone know how to take a large file break it down to smaller parts send it through outlook and then merge it back into one file within outlook on the other end. Apparently there is a way to do thi within outlook. There isn't anyway to do that with Outlook. You could do it with WinRAR, or search for a program on google called HJSplit. Hi Groupies How can I test to see if a linked form, that might not be visible, has data? My main form has a yes/no box that enables a button when it is set to yes. The button opens a linked form. Hi, I have some stacked column charts and I want the data labels to appear just above each column. Is that possible? Hi, I am working on Asset registers/Depreciation Schedules and at the star of the year I need to convert over my previous years spreadsheets (fo about 40 schools) to the new financial year. Can I import a .pdf file into publisher
I tried to copy and paste from InDesign and it did not work. Can you import any type of file into publisher. Example: .pdf or .eps No. Publisher is pretty much a stand all by itself program. If you can't copy and paste into it, you're kind of sorely out of luck. My worksheet's size varies from 12 to 100 rows. To identify rows with data, I have a hidden column "A" which displays a character if the row has any data entered. I have entered a "fixed" character in cell A100.
