Exporting messages to Access
I've seen this question asked but not answered several times in the past
couple of weeks: Is there a way to export Outlook 2002 messages to an Access
database (or csv or anything that is NOT a pst) that will retain the
Received date and time information? I'm trying to create an email archive to
pass on to someone who doesn't use Outlook. A database of messages would be
great but is nearly useless without the Received date. Is it truly the case
that this information cannot be exported?
...exporting report to excel- Help!
I need some help with Excel. I am exporting a report (from progra

I have a full install of office 2002, but still when I go

greyed out. All features for Outlook are installed.
What can I do?
Sounds like you are using XP. Are you? Who are you
logged in as? If installed as administrator and the user
has not been granted rights.... Try logging in as the
administrator. Can you now do imports?
My guess is you have not set up an email account yet. Set
it up and you'll be able to import your old pst file.

Two part question:
Anyone know how to export distribution lists from AD (using Exchange
2003)? I can seem to export the list of DL's, but what I need is each
DL with a list of members.
Two, When I am in a DL trying to add members, I can only view
usernames from the User container in AD. If there are users in other
containers, I cannot view them from inside the DL. Instead, I have to
go to each container, look for the user, and add them individually to
the DL. It is quite time consuming!

You can only do this with the Visio for Enterprise Architects product which
is part of Visual Studio Enterprise Architect.

...Import and Export problem
Unfortunately, it became necessary to re-install windows XP due to a problem
with a video driver. Before the re-install, I backed up all outlook files
by doing an export to a CD and saving all contacts, e-mail folders and
calendar to a .pst file. The CD tells me the file is there and they have
data in them, but I can not get outlook to import the files back from the
CD. I have tried to open the .pst files directly from the CD, specifying
outlook at the program, but this will not work. Hopefully, someone will
know how to recover my .pst data files as this is the only back-up I have.

When exporting xml data from excel 2003, the time values lose their
readable format. The value that was displayed as 01:30 am, for

What do I need to do to allow the exported xml file to keep the same
format as what is displayed in Excel?
...Export and import a mail folder with a personalized view in a .pst file.
I try to export a mail folder with a personalized view in a .pst file.
When I import the .pst, only the folder is available and not the view.
I used Oulook 2002.
Exporting copies only visible items, not hidden items like views. If =
it's a view created in a particular folder, copying the entirre folder =
to another .pst file will copy the view.=20

Once you convert the Publisher document into an image, you then can insert it into

When exporting from CRM 3.0 to Excel 2003, dates and numbers in CRM 3.0 are
exporting as text in Excel 2003. Is there a way to correct this so that
dates and numbers export correctly?
A simple way to do this:
1) Select the cells that have dates as text and you want to convert.
2) Go to menu Data - Text in columns...
3) On first step of the wizard select "Delimited"
4) On second step click next
5) On third step select format "Date" and click "Finish"

I know of no way to do that.Perhaps you could delete all the irrelevant

only the bill schedule?
This would probably be less than satisfactory. Recreating the bills would
probably be easier, too.
