#### error analysis

```I have a graph of Force(mN) vs Distance(m). The error in the force is
0.0001g and the error in the distance is 0.0254mm. I have 10 points on
the graph. Excel gives R^2 = 0.90. My gradient is 1.045. What is it's
error? Can someone help?
```Hey there labview,

You have two different errors in your post. The error in the force and
distance is the error within each of the 10 points in your graph. So
since you're working on the F = ma equation, you will should have a
straight line, with error bars on each point reflecting the 0.0001g and
0.0254mm (click on data point or curve and select y (or x) error bars
and then fill in the details). The R^2 value is a measure of the
resulting equation's (the fit's) ability to predict what the data
should be. It's a goodness of fit, so you could report your results as
saying that the acceleration (due to gravity?) based on your results is
"1.045 (R^2 = 0.90)".  Don't forget your units though (m/s^2?).  0.90
simply means that the equation spitted out during the fitting process
can explain about 90% of the variation within the data, which is a good
result. The closer to 1 R^2 gets, the better the fit.

If you need to discuss precision and accuracy errors, this is a
comparison between what you got as an answer (1.045) and the expected
result. Like if you are trying to calculate the acceleration due to
gravity, which is 9.8 m/s^2, then a value of 1.045 m/s^2 is not very
accurate, but the R^2 value of 0.9, and the low errors on distance and
force argues for precision (reproducability).

I've probably written too much, sorry if I've confused you, but all the

granting users Send as permissions causes errors unless they select the FROM address from the GAL
I've got some users who have two mailboxes, each with a different address. They need to be able to select which address they send from, on occasion. But, unless they select the FROM address from the GAL, they get the following error: You do not have permission to send to this recipient. If they manually type in the address, they receive this error. This is only a problem because I would prefer to hide the 2nd account from the GAL, to avoid confusion.
