```My next problem is I need to extract only certain information from a
worksheet as sample-

Worksheet A                                        Worksheet B
Column A                                            Column A      Column B
Column C

SP001                                                SP001             PL001

PL002                  1
SP001
DC001                  5

Worksheet B is my Bill of Material but I only want to extract only certain
info such as PL001 / PL002 with the qty's.

Any assistance is appreciated.

you a good solution could you repost and give the example something like this:

Worksheet A

Worksheet B
[A]         [B]

But based on those layouts, we could use SUMPRODUCT() on sheet A to give
combined quantity for each item.  In A2 use a formula like this:
=SUMPRODUCT(--('Worksheet B'!\$A\$1:\$A\$1000=A\$1), ('Worsheet B'!\$A\$1:\$A\$1000))
Fill the formula across the sheet.
Actually, in this case, you could even use the simpler SUMIF() formula
because there is only one thing to match (the item ID):
=SUMIF('Worksheet B'!\$A\$2:\$A\$1000,\$A\$1,'Worksheet B'!\$B\$2:\$B\$1000)

If Worksheet A is laid out like:

I tried the formula but I am not getting the results I require.

Firstly I am getting 0 value.

Secondly what I require is that the the data in B PL001, PL002 with
corresponding values in C. to be extracted not DL001.

I require only certain data from the bill of material.

The formula I require has to in Worksheet A :-

lookup DATA in Worksheet A

in worksheet B

Search for all Text String starting with "PL" in Worksheet B
[B]
PL001
PL002
DL001

and return with values from Worksheet B
[C]
1
16
5

as 1 and 16.

I need the values to be seperated and not summed.

'Counter' value of the 'Perflib' subkey
I have a program which queries the 'Counter' value of the 'Perflib' subkey in the Windows registry using RegQueryValueEx. It used to work fine but now the debug build of my program is broken on Windows 2008 Server R2. The 'Counter' value is a REG_MULTI_SZ type data and is terminated with two NULL characters. However, I found out for Windows 2008 Server R2, the value returned from RegQueryValueEx has an extra character(0xcdcd) after the two NULL characters, which ends the 'Counter' string value. My spreadsheet contains a list of people. The cell next to each nam contains multiple numeric values for identifying a specific piece o information. My recipients recieving multiple copies
I'm using Outlook 2002 with Win XP Pro. I have dial up (POP3 & SMTP) in a little town with old phone lines. My recipients (never more than 50) sometimes recieve from 2 to 10 copies of the same message. I am setting the values for a combo box in a form(s) via a query that 'filters' the results with criteria based upon the values of other fields on the form. The combo is a field that is bound. However, this is giving all kinds of problems ranging from Access completely crashing to being asked for the parameter values of those criteria fields when closing the form. Setup multiple domains
My boss owns multiple companies and each has a registerd domain name. Can a single SBS2003 exchange sever host all of the domains and allow traffic to all the different domains via pop? Point me in the right direction please. hey all, i need to add a public folder calendar to multiple user accounts "favorites" calendar list (shows as other calendars) in outlook 2007. i know, from outlook, you can right click and add to favorite to add it to an individual user's "other calendars" but i need to do this for a group of people. is there any way in exchange, gpo, or something to do this automatically based on group membership, etc.? thanks in advance. shrpshtr ...
