I am downloading from a mainframe and convert the file to an Excel file.
Eventually I sort the data. If I have a date field and I sort by date, Excel
keeps everything which appears on the same line the date appeared on. My data,
however, has multiple lines of text between dates. The extra data contains
things like order details. Sometimes I need that info and have to go back
to the unsorted file and type it into the sorted list. Is there anyway I can
highlight the cells with the text data, merge them so that Excel views them as

When I add a checkbox form to my spreadsheet, it is not part of any cell.
It sits above the spreadsheet and can even overlap the row/column/cell
When I place them so that they look like they're "within" the cell,

I am developing an application which uses Excel as the input interface.
I want to use a cell as a "button", i.e. the user can use keyboard to
navigate to that cell, and press enter to "click" the button. I don't
want to use a button clicked by mouse, because that would be slow.
However, I can't find any event like "onkeypressed", and
"worksheet_change" and "worksheet_selectionchange" doesn't do well.

I converted to EXCEL 2002 and attempting to do file transfer from AS/400
machine. On my previous EXCEL 2000 version, I could read over a maximum of
50,000 records. With EXCEL 2002, I get a message" The data will not fit in

combinations appears in the table. Cells A1:A7 would vary with entries

they are currently in different formats such as:
