Combining Cells #2
I wish to combine two cells, want the cell to appear as Chicago Golf Club 04/15/04, where Chicago Golf Club is cell a1 and 04/14/04 is cell b1. When I use the formula a1&" "&b1 the date is shown as a number. Is there anyway it can be shown as a date? This cell will then be used to save the file, using a macro.

I'm struggling through doing some binary math on excel. Ugh. You'd think
Excel is written by programmers, so they would see the value of having
some programmer-friendly bitwise math and binary, octal and hex formatting
stuff in there, if for no other reason than they could use it themselves.
Anyway, that's my rant, here's my question
I have some numbers in cells that I convert to binary
C5: 55 DEC2BIN(C5) gives me 1010101
I'd really like to display that as

This is an extension of my previous question about 'Forma

If I paste a picture ( 'picture (enhanced metafile)' ) from anothe
program into excel it free floats above the worksheet. If I 'forma
object' and set it to 'move and size' with cells, should it not sor
with another column? Move if I move the row or column it is on? I am

I am running Vista Home Premium with SP1 installed. When I try to install
Money Plus Deluxe, I get the dreaded "Setup is unable to install some
components. Try reinstalling Money." I've read all of the threads I can
find about this error message, but all seem to deal with XP, not Vista. I've
tried everything I can find on the newsgroups, etc., to no avail. Has anyone
running Vista had this problem and if so, pleas help!!!!!!

The following code is part of a number generator, that
fills a column with numbers in the format "0000" ie on 5
instances of AI, numbers 0700 - 0704 will be generated.
However, when I try to add "+" or "-" to the end of the
number, the numbers generated are 0700+, 701+, 702+, 703+,
704+. After the first instance I loose the leading "0".
Any ideas on how I can maintain my number format, and also

Not sure if you want the original to remain. If you don't a macro
might be better. Don't know if it is always the last two characters

Sounds like the fixed decimal places is set. Go into Tools>Options>Edit, and
see if the Fixed Decimal check box is checked. If so, uncheck it.
