Duplicate Mailbox in Outlook 2003 #2
I am running Outlook 2003 on a Windows XP SP2 machine. Outlook is configured to connect to an Exchange 2003 server. Under the "All Mail Folders" in Outlook 2003, it lists my mailbox twice - one with the Outlook Today icon and one with the Personal Folder icon (even though it is not a personal folder). Clicking on either one displays the exact same contents and folders. I tried going into the email account options to see if I can remove the duplicate account but there is only one Exchange account is listed. I am not running Outlook in cached mode. I do have a PPC I sync with...

Cant open PDF in OWA 2003
Hi, If I receive a PDF attachment from someone on my Exchange 2003 SP2 server I have to save it to the local disk to view it. However, if I receive a PDF attachment from the Internet I am able to view it right insde of the OWA window and don't have to save it to the local disk. Any ideas? Thanks If you're using Adobe Reader v6 or earlier, go to v7.0.9 or v8. We had a similar issue where people could not open a link to a PDF file from Outlook and updating Adobe Reader fixed it. Outlook 2003 will not close!
Outlook will not close! I'm not using a exchange server. I have to close outlook 2003 with the task manager. This happened after upgrading office XP to 2003. Runing with winfax Pro 10.01 WinFax 10 is not compatible with Outlook 2003. Might want to check the Symantec support site and see if they have documented steps on how to install WinFax 10 w/out integrating into Outlook. -- Neo [MVP Outlook] Due to the Swen virus, all e-mails sent to this account will be deleted w/out reading. How to Set Reminder Notice to Remain on Top Outlook 2003
Hi, I've read a few posts about this problem: The reminder notification box pops under or gets covered by other windows, defeating the visual element and purpose of the reminder (yes, the taskbar button is visible, but could be difficult to see depending on the number of windows open, amount of available space on the taskbar, resolution setting, size of screen, and other desktop settings, etc.). This problem has not been adequately addressed in these other posts or the KB, IMHO. Is there a reg hack to set the Reminder Notice to "Remain on Top"? Is there a "nag&...

How to reinstall Exchange 2003 box
I have an Exchange 2003 SP1 on Windows Server 2003 with approx.35 Gb of data. I need to rebuild this box from the scratch. One way to do this is to setup up a temp. server, configure it and move all mailboxes using ADUC. But it is a difficult and time-consuming way... Is it possible to move out just a database files, rebuild and configure the server, move them back and then simply mount those "old" databases in a new Exchange installation? Will it work and what is the right way to do such migration? Thanks, Gera Sonex Co. On Tue, 15 Mar 2005 07:53:01 +0200, "Gera"...

Deleting Account in the Debt Reduction Planner (Money 2003)
Why on earth would ANYONE want to delete account as a _common_ action in the Debt Reduction Planner? I assume "Delete Account" means remove it from the Debt Reduction Planner not actually DELETE THE ACCOUNT! A warning dialog isn't enough especially within a context as such. Shame on me - but for crying out loud what in the world is that button/operation doing in there?! Hire some UI people to think a little better. You guys got me on this one, twice as a matter of fact, since I accidentally deleted an account from my file and then when I exited to use my backup, auto-ba...

Help needed with Money 2003 files
Hi there, I've been using money 2003 for years even when upgrading to new PC's as I had the original disk. I've just had to rebuild my hard drive and now cannot find the disk anywhere so cannot install Money. As you cannot now buy Money, I've tried downloading the trial version of Money so that I can access all the account details/balances but it says that they're not compatible with earlier versions of money. Is there anything that I can do to get these files open or have I lost all my records for the last 6 years? I'd really appreciate your assistance. Jayne EggHead...

Publisher 2003 Not Showing Graphics (Pictures)
OK, this is just too weird. Two computers, both running Publisher 2003. On #1, all graphics load and everything is fine. On #2, all of a sudden [last week] *SOME* of the pictures stop showing up, replaced by placeholder with red 'x'. So what happened last week? Why some pictures and not others? I emptied out temp folders, switched the "View" settings for pictures, but I'm not sure what to try next. Any suggestions? Excel 2003 with SP3: border around active cell not moving when using keyboard?
