OWA with different email address
Greetings, My company added some new staff who will use a slightly different email address than other staff omo.company.com vice company.com. I have already setup the users with the new email addresses and they can send and receive. I setup a recipient policy already. However, I cannot open OWA for the new users. I did not setup a separate domain for this, just new email addresses. OWA works fine for company.com, but not for omo.company.com. I tried to setup a new virtual server in IIS for this but since it is not a separate domain was unsure of the settings. Any help would be appreci...

Able to move Report Writer fields with different 'Types' at same t
I worked recently with MBS Support and discovered that you cannot select multiple fields in Report Writer at the same time, if they have different field types. For instance, if a field in report section F1 has a type of 'Last Occurrence' and you try to move it at the same time as a field with type 'Data' in report section RH (as an example), then the field in section F1 is automatically changed to type 'Data'. This results in reporting errors that must be corrected. Since moving fields together for formatting is a matter of common convenience, I feel that this...

Just happened to be scanning the web for something on VB6 and came across this monstrosity
I was looking for a masked textbox for hex input and in the MSDN blurb on How to Create a Numeric Text Box (.Net, naturally, this being Microsoft) my eyes hit upon the following: Dim numberFormatInfo As NumberFormatInfo = System.Globalization.CultureInfo.CurrentCulture.NumberFormat I mean, you REALLY have to allow that to sink in... List of Differences Between Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003
I need to spend 45 minutes introducing Outlook 2003 to my Outlook 2000 users. Can anyone provide a site with a succinct list (screenshots would help) of differences between Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003? Many thanks. Tom Are you looking for screenshots of Outlook 2003 or ones comparing OL2000 and 2003? Wouldn't you be a more convincing teacher if used both and took the screenshots yourself? This would help you learn and understand the products better. (Vmware or virtual pc make this really easy and you could show them the differences live. :)) -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] ...

Share resource between projects with different std cost
Hi all, I'm a new member and I have a question for all. In my firm, I manage projects with Microsoft Project Professional 2003. I share resources between some projects with a resource pool but I need to assign a different std cost of the same resource to different projects. Is it possible? How could I do it? No selection for country/region?
When I attempt to set up my dialing location (e.g. Control Panel > Phone and modem options) and the "Location Information" window appears, I have no selections to choose from in the country/regions pull down menu and therefore cannot set up my dialing location properly. How do I get the countries and regions to appear? I apparently need to fill this in because Outlook "requires" it to be able to simply enter a phone number in a contact, even though I believe it only uses that information to display the phone number in the manner it thinks is best. Seems a lit...

Difference between ACT! 6.0 and Outlook?
What is the difference here between these two programs? I see a lot of people use them together, but it seems like they do the same thing, no? I put a free trial of Act 6.0 on , and I use Outlook XP for my email. How to determine difference?
If I have a cell that is 100 and another cell in which I want to demonstrate the difference - how do I set this up? The problem is that at the moment if I use a simple a1-b1 I get a negative number if b is larger. What I want is it to indicate the change as a +/-. So if A is 100 and B is 105, I would like to cell to indicate 5. If B is 95 - then -5 - does this make sense? If you purchased the CDs or have them on their originally produced discs, you shouldn't have a problem. Move Printers and Print Server to a different server
I am looking to move my printers to a different server. The operating system on the new server is the same as the existing server (Windows 2003). Can I simply re-create the printers on the new server with the same name and information or do I need to migrate the printers (somehow)? Once the printers are moved, will I need to have my users delete and re-add their printers? I am hoping to avoid having the users delete/add the printers but if this is required then I have no choice. If you have any questions please let me know. Problem starting different http connections from the same application
Hi, I have a multithreaded application in which one thread sends a request to a web server -and reads the response for a while (which is why its a separate thread). The other thread needs to send data periodically to the server - but this is where I run into problems. In the method that the second thread uses makes a new session , gets a new connection, creates a new http file - but fails to send the data. Looking at the ethereal captures, it seems that the second thread is sending requests through the same tcp connection that the very first request (that hasn't returned yet) we...

Linking Hyperlinks into different cells
I have got a front sheet with several selections to make. This is transfered onto a hidden sheet where it uses an autofitler to narrow the search down to one row. On this row there are several numbers which I transfer onto the front page. I also need to transfer a hyperlink onto the front sheet. I can transfer the text of the hyperlink, using this: {=INDEX(K11:K304,MATCH(1,SUBTOTAL(3,OFFSET(K11:K304,ROW(K11:K304)-MIN(ROW (K11:K304)),,1)),0))} I cannot transfer the hyperlink itself, does anyone know how to do this? RPC/HTTP

They're currently in WORKGROUP mode, but I'm going to be creating an AD 2003 Domain for them (NOTE: Their offsite LAN is not connected in any way to our corporate LAN except via the Internet and RPC/HTTP...no VPN either). XL2003: Move a Comment Into a Different Cell?

Different from 1.2 vs 1.3
Where is there a list of what 1.3 really does provide in way of improvement over 1.2, without all the marketing bullsh** to get you to upgrade? We have requested a bug to be fix for years now with the cashier return limit field. It can not be set at 0.00, but at 0.01 to keep cashiers from doing a return. The 0.00 the software treat it like they have no limit on doing return. My senior management is getting tired of waiting on Microsoft to fix it.
