Merging Workbooks with Multiple Worksheets
I've been searching for about an hour now and have yet to find the
solution to my problem.
I have 15 workbooks, i.e. Inventory 1, Inventory 2, Inventory 3.
In each of these workbooks there are 5 sheets, Desktops, Laptops,
Printers, Monitors, Hubs.
On each sheet, the categories are applicable to the inventory.
Essentially, these 15 workbooks are identical in format, with different

For some reason, when I try to create Append query, it doesnt show on the
list of tables.
I know the the table is there and I can select it if I want to create a
different type of query but not append.
What can cause that?

The subject is a little misleading. I can of course select more than
100 mail items, but Outlook starts to behave differently when I select
I work on a public mailbox, where hundreds of mail items are managed
using categories. In principle, there is a master category list that
everyone uses; but in practice, of course, people add their own
without telling everyone.
When I select up to 100 items in this mailbox, right-click and select
Categories, Outlook shows the list of Available categories, and any
categories among the 100 selected items that are not in my Master

I've created an excel workbook with forms, reporting (lots of coding in VB).
If it's opened only on a one machine it's working well. But, if somebody
opens it read-only and does some reporting (that should be Ok for the
read-only mode), there is always a problem and odd data (empty reports, etc.)
Could I fix it somehow?
I think you'll have to much more specific to get any useful response.
But I've used many workbooks that were marked readonly (to stop updates) and the
macros worked fine. So I don't think just having the workbook open in readonly

I have 2 workbooks where the first 3 columns of each row (after a title row)
consist of an ID number, a North coordinate and an East Coordinate. Workbook
A is complete in that every ID for our system is included along with the

I was wondering if anybody has encountered an Access is Denied message
getting into Store Operations Manager while in POS is open. It's the
strangest thing. We have 12 stores on this system and we have one store
having this problem. She can still get into Operations Manager by pressing

I have a macro which I've been using for quite some time. This macro allows
the user to identify the User IDs of people listed in the spreadsheet.
However, I now need a macro to do the reverse. That is, it needs to find the
names of people whose User IDs are listed in the spreadsheet. If possible, it
would be great to list the given anme and surname in separate columns.
Is it possible to modify the macro below to achieve what I want (i.e. so
that it does the reverse of what it currently does)?

This occurs when there is MORE than one Logical/Physical CPU on the system.
When a console winevent hook function is active, changing the codepage of a
console window causes the console window to not respond.
I set a hook using SetWinEventHook to get notified on events
EVENT_CONSOLE_CARET to EVENT_CONSOLE_END_APPLICATION
all is well, events are coming.
When I open a CMD window and change the codepage to a different codepage
than the default one, the window stops responding.

This is a NT 4 Domain no active directory. When I try to log in it pops the

I am running Exchange 2003 sp2 on windows 2003 sp1. Everything is isntalled
on one server, AD and Exchange are on a single server. I am faced with a
troubling problem. I need to give rights to a user so they can add email
enabled contacts into an OU. I have given the use the delegated perms to do
this, and they can add user to this OU no problem. I have also installed the
Exchange admin tools and 2003 admins tools on the users machine. In order for
