Microsoft Outlook infinite loop errors while configuring exchange account upon first launch.
When you launch outlook for the first time, you get the option to go through the email wizard or cancel. I choose to cancel the wizard and instead add an exchange account (via control panel/mail/accounts) to the mail settings. After adding the exchange account, I then lauched outlook again to populate the cache with exchange emails and folders, etc., but instead was greeted with an error message after 30 minutes of what seemed to be a locked computer: "outlook must first connect to exchange server before configuring additional email accounts", and then closes down. formula fill not working correctly in 2007
If I use the fill handle to copy a formula, the formulas are well copied, but the results are not. Exemple: The formula in A3 is =A1+A2. If I copy the formula to B3 it reads =B1+B2, which is correct. The result given in B3 however is not B1+B2 but the same result as in A3. I have to recalculate the formule in B3 for the correct result. In previous versions Excel did this automatically. How can I fix this problem or is it a bug? Hi It sounds as though calculation is set to Manual. Tools>Options>Calculation>and select Automatic -- Regards Roger Govier "Jante" <J...

Need Microsoft Access to run on my Mac Powerbook

percent correct
I'm trying to get the absolute percentage correct for a formula. If there is 200 expected and 215 received I'm looking for the absolute percentage not a percentage over 100%. The answer would always be under 100%. IWS there a formula for this. What's an "absolute" percentage? If you are tracking the percentage of the expected which was received, you divide received by expected, or 215/200, for 107.5%. Does sender filter rules apply only to anonymous connections ?
Hi, In Exchange 2003 documentation, we can read that : "Recipient filter rules apply only to anonymous connections. Authenticated users and Exchange servers bypass these validations.". I would like to know if this is also true for sender filter rules. We receive a lot of emails where the FROM email address pretends to be in our domain name. We would like to deny SMTP messages when the email address of the sender pretends to be part of our organization AND when the user has not authenticated (if the user has authenticated, we can trust his FROM header). How can we do that ? M...

How do I correct formula display errors?
I use Word 2003, and recently formulas created by my professor do not display properly on my laptop. For instance, the ampersand symbol seems to appear where some superscripting or ' characters should be. What is the problem and solution? New record on a new day (re-post)
I seem to be having problems with this post, so I am going to try again. I need help in coding a form so that the following can happen: The scenario is that a user will open the form for the first time on Sept 21st, for example, and the form will be blank. Any subsequent times the user opens the form on Sept 21st it will default to the same record in the table for that day so that more information can be added to that record. On September 22nd, the form will be blank once again. I was given the following code to try: Private Sub Form_Load() On Error GoTo Error_Handler Dim db As DAO.Dat...

Re: Windows Mail / Gmail Folder synchronisation error
In Gmail, create a label "Google Mail" (no quotes), or rename the existing "Gmail" label (if there is one) to "Google Mail", so that you have two exactly the same corresponding folder names, one in Gmail and the other one in Windows Mail. You might also try to do it the other way round, and rename the relevant folder in Windows Mail so it has the same name as its counterpart in Gmail. -- wojciech05 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ wojciech05's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/208892.htm View ...

Moving SSIS 2005 packages from test to prod.
Hi, in the near future we will be implementing a test environment for our SSIS packages. We would like to be able to minimize the amount of code changes that take place when doing the move from test to production. Is there any funtionality within SSIS 2005 to search and replace the server name and database for an entire package? Or is there a way to parameterize the server name and database so that we just only change the value of the parameter? -- Thanks! - Jim On Mon, 28 Jun 2010 14:11:16 -0700, jam772 <jam772@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >Hi, in ...

Microsoft Exchange Event
Hi, I am trying to start Microsoft Exchange Event service, however I am unable to do so. I get the following error in MMC: "Could not start the Microsoft Exchange Event service on Local Computer. The service did not return an error. This could be an internal Windows error or an internal service error. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator." Also, in the Application log this error is recorded: "An unexpected MAPI error occurred. Error returned was [0x80004005]." Query Not Returning Correct Amount of Records
I have 6 tables that I have built 6 different queries on. Individually, these queries return the correct amount of records in the tables. Which is 80 records in all tables involved. Then I built a query that collects data from the 6 queries and this query returns 75 records. What am I doing wrong? Thanks Don As a guess, your query is not correctly structured for the data you have. For instance, if one of the 6 tables does not have a matching record that could cause you to "lose" a record or two in the query if you have set up a join to that table and have n...

What is the correct command name enabling all break points?
Hi, In Studio's debugger, you can issue a command DebugDisableAllBreakpoints (by associating it with a hot key) to temporarily disable all break points. But I couldn't find its opposite command that enables all break points. Each time I am forced to enable the disabled breakpoints one by one. Do you know the correct command name enabling all break points? Please help. Thanks.
