Is it possible to print a page only if cell A7 contains the test "Apple
or "Banana" AND not print if blank.
What would the formula be?

UDF's and Macros can reside in a General Module in the workbook you send.
They could be in an Add-in which you would also send.
Personal.xls is not a great idea since you would have to send that along with
the workbook and the user may have his/her own Personal.xls which you would

The printer you have selected as the default is probably one that creates a
file, such as the default XPS Document Writer (or whatever it's called) or a
fax driver or the Adobe PDF printer.

I'm having a problem within Windows 2000.
We are running Ofiice 97 Pro and 2000 on the same machine
and have come across a strange issue. Whenever my end
user is in Excel 97 and wants to copy data from one range
of cells to another, she selects the cells, right clicks
to select "copy" and at that point the machine sends out
a print job to her default printer. We'd like to stop
this behavior. Anyone got any ideas? I've installed
office 97 sp1 and the update with the same name. I can't

One thing that drives me crazy is that I want to work on files at
home, but when I bring them from the office to home and work on them,
when I get back to the office, the full path names of the sheets I've
worked on are saved.
For example, if I have a workbook Houston.xls, and I refer to cells in
the another file called Scorecard.xls, all references are to the full
paths, and I have to spend time deleting all the full pathnames that
were valid at home to the full path at work (on a server naturally, so

I am making a "Program" for a Barbershop Chorus concert
using MS Publisher in the "Catalog" mode (which prints
both sides of course.) I cannot seem to find out what
kind of paper I can get (short of photo imaging paper)
that is opaque enuff to prevent the backside of a page
from showing through the "white areas" of the front
side. It's not a bleed-through, it's just that the paper
is to darn translucent. I am using 24 lb inkjet paper
with an inkjet printer. I am sure this is anything but a
new problem, but I have not found anything in the Goog...Publisher 2000 print problem

I currently use Excel to create a single worksheet .htm file that
upload to Yahoo and is viewable on the internet. Works just fine.
I would now like to be able to upload a multi-worksheet .htm workboo
to Yahoo and have only one of the worksheets(that I designate) show u

not hold when sending copy to the Riso machine for
printing. Anyone have any ideas about settings for custom

I don't know if Riso handles printing any different than other printers. In page
setup, set your printer, then the page setup.

i have a range of cells whose values are validated from a list determined by
the name is determined by a formula which references a range of cells in a
different workbook (i'm on a office network...)
the problem is:
if the other workbook is open (on my desktop?) the name is o.k. and the
validation is fine...

I have a pubisher file that is a card with a size of 5 x 6 and is 2 pages. Is
it possible to print 2 copies of this file on a letter size page so that
there will be 2 double sided copies on the letter size page. I need to
laminate these cards so if I could get 2 per page I would just need to cut
the page in half. I am using Publisher 2003.
