On startup text to speech installation keeps appearing

Dear All

When I load up Excel the dialog box comes up before excel 
continues to load saying:

"Text to Speech - This feature is not currently 
installed. Would you like to install it now?"

I dont want to install it but this KEEPS coming up, any

I don't use "text to speech" so this is an uninformed response!

Excel starts things each time you start the program.

There can be addins checked under Tools|addins.
there can be workbooks in your XLStart folder(s).
there can be workbooks in the "alternate startup folder" 
   aka "at startup, open all files in" 
   (different versions mean different wording.  
    Tools|options|general tab is where you'd double check this.)

there can be stuff started via the windows registry.
and you can start stuff based on the command line used when you start excel.

The first thing I'd do is to start excel in Safe mode to see if not starting
stuff fixes the problem.

Close excel
windows Start button
Excel /safe

If no irritating prompt, then you've got some detective work to do.

Keep notes of what you had enabled--so you can put back the non-irritating

Turn off all the things in Tools|addins
move everything out of XLStart (search for all XLStart folders).

then open excel, did it appear again?

If no, start adding things back one at a time.  When you find the culprit,
move/delete (or even accept that you like it!) the file.

Office 2003 factory-installed by Dell. Opening a new file with Excel (or Word) yields a Visual Basic error message: 'Compile error in hidden network: AutoExec' and then the PC hourglass runs. Great Plains Standard installation 8.0
On the test server we have installed the program and the data tables on the same server. When we go live, we intend to install the program on one server and the data on another. I just installed sql 2008 r2 (build 1600) and i need to install the SP1 but my doubt is, what is sql 2008 R2? is it sql 2008 + Service Pack 1? what update does it include with the "r2"? do i have to install sp1 or it's already included? thanks!! Outlook 2002 on Exchange 5.5 -- RTF to Plain Text issues
The owner of our company wants ALL email sent to him in Rich Text Format so he can use an abbreviation program he has that works with MS Word when replying. Attachments convert to text format
When I send a message with an attachment in Outlook XP some receivers claim that all they receive is a text mail. My default mail format is plain text. I imported data from a web page and used the feature that allows me to post the info to Excel with the destination formatting of the file I am posting it to. GP 10.0 Fails to install .Net Framework 2.0 not installed
I'm trying to install GP 10.0 on server. We have .net framework 2.0 sp1 and 3.0 installed. We have windows sharepoint services installed on framework 3.0. We have emails saved on the file system, that is kept track of by another program. These emails have custom properties attached to them. There is no custom form, just custom properties. These fields were originally added using objPost.UserProperties.Add. Simple question about text within a cell
I can't seem to find the option that prevents text from covering the adjacent cell. For example if I type the folling in cell A1: All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth. Obviously that will overflow over the cell B1 (if there is no data in B1). I don't want to resize my column, I only want the cell to show as much text in A1 as possible without covering cell B1. keeping messages in inbox
I've been using Outlook for about a month to pull in my emails from a different mail services I have - AOL and SBC/Yahoo. The problem I'm having is that while my messages are coming in from AOL correctly (or they seem to be), Outlook only retains them for a week or so then they disappear. It does not happen with the SBC mail (which is the first/default mail account).
