automatically multiply each cell entry by a number
I'd like to be able to format certain cells so that after entering
numerical value, the entered value is multiplied by a number. M
specific application involves entering numbers read from a gage durin
testing. The gage readings must be multiplied by a certain numbe
(10^(-6)) to obtain the actual value. I know I could set up an entr
cell and place a cell with a formula next to it, but I would like t
know if I could handle it without the extra cell.

I have a pivot table that uses data that is formatted in non-proportional
fonts (ie: Courier New). The pivot table is also formatted to
non-proportional fonts (Courier New)
I have the pivot table properties set to "Preseve Formatting"
When I close the spreadsheet and open it again, some of the fonts in the
pivot table revert to proportional fonts. I then have to reformat the fonts
back to Courier New

You have values 1 to 10 in 10 cells. You then apply 2 tone formatting cells
based on highest and lowest value with the highest value color being grey
and the lowest value white. When doing this the cells will be colored in the

My Data Series contains blanks as the result of formula calculations. The
location and number of blanks can change with each recalculation as input
criteria change. I can make my Chart ignore an "Empty" cell easy enough but
my cells still contain the formula which created the blank ("") cell and
therefore, not truely empty. I want to plot the series, about 7000 values,
without the blanks showing up as zeros and ruining my trendline fit.
Removing those rows is not an option as I have to retain the x-axis value as
place holder on the chart.

I have set up a conditional format that will change the color of a cell when
a value changes higher or lower from the previous cell in the column. My
problem is that I am using a lettering system which goes (A+, A, A-, B+, B,
B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D-, E+, E, E-), but the spreadsheet sorts these letters
in this fashion (A+, A-, A, B+, B-, B, etc....). Can someone tell me how I
can change the automatic sorting??? Thanks for your time.

The trick being the decimal is not shown for the second number.
I currently use two different versions depending on the number, but I would

You could add a couple of rectangles over the cell (make the borders invisible)
and assign a different hyperlink to each of the rectangles.

I am using one data base wherin I have to hide specific rows and then
number the visible rows in sequence i.e.1,2,3,4,... till end of data.
