Is it possible to use concatenation with VLOOKUP? Is
there another way to do the same?
I have several worksheet files, say BB03CP79.XLS,
BW01CP69.XLS, DW02CP72.XLS, BW02CP59.XLS, etc.
Furthermore, each worksheet file contains 3 worksheets,
FLOCK RECORD, GROW OUT, GROWER PAY.
I am creating a new worksheet to pull certain information
from each of the worksheet files. In this file I will
create column headings that matches the Worksheet files
that I am referencing, BB03CP79, BW01CP69, DW02CP72,
BW02CP59. Because of the length of my formulas which use

I'm trying to highlight duplicate entries in a column. Right now, I'm using
the formula found at http://www.cpearson.com/excel/duplicat.htm, which works
My column has a column name in the first row (set to PartID). What I'm doing
is highlighting the entire column, selecting Conditional Formatting, and
using the equation =IF(COUNTIF(PartID, A2)>1,TRUE,FALSE) as the formula. A2

When I start up Outlook, it downloads all the mail from my POP3 server, not
just the new mail, and so I get many, many duplicates. So long as Outlook
stays running, though, it behaves fine, with each send/receive just getting
the new mails, as it should. I use two POP3 accounts, and both send through

problem today where a quote was converted to an order twice. Isn't there a
way to prevent a quote from being converted to an order more than once.
Also, I do not like that the CRM database objects have a one to many

I down load a PO log from our accounting program (AS400)
into excel. From there I have set up different pivot
tables and charts for different things. Is there a way
that when I copy the po log the next day and paste it on
the summary page that it would show all the duplicate
entries. Maybe highlight them or something along those
lines. That way I can delete them. Some entries might have
duplicate po numbers beacuse there is 2 sperate tickets

I have been receiving and sending emails on my windows mail program for 2 or
3 years, all of a sudden, a security box opens when I try to receive asking
for username and password. When I fill in that information I still can not

My current database uses the autonumber field as the Primary key so I did

In my table design,Because I need to accept No value , I can not use NO
duplicate index for my field , but I shouldn't let duplicate values in it. to
develop the need I check the value in the data entry form using "Find first"

I was patching up my copy of Office X. I saw that the 10.1.5 Updater
required the 10.1.4 Updater, which in turn requires the 10.1.2
I downloaded all three.
I then quit all Office apps and activated the 10.1.2 Updater. It found
my copy of Office and ran just fine. However, when I went to check on
the status of my Office folder, I found that a significant number of
files were missing. Like, the file for PowerPoint. Furthermore, Word
would no longer open. Excel and Entourage seemed fine.

In Word 2003, after spell checking a document, you would get a message
telling you if your document had text tagged with "Do not check spelling or
grammar" saying that "text marked do not check spelling or grammar" was
ignored. Word 2007 doesn't always let you know that text tagged with "Do not

I just inherited a database, an .mdb file. We are using Access 2007 but it
had not been converted. I now notice that when a record is created in one of
the forms, the record is duplicated, so it shows up twice in the form (the
form was created in datasheet format in Access 2003). I will convert the

I have project update form based on parameter query. In the query
ProjectEngineer Criteria field, I put ( Like [forms]![formfind]![combo1] ) .
The record source of query is TblProject and fields are ProjectEng,….etc.
The row source of combo1 of Formfind is a query as

I have an update query that joins three tables, A, P & S. S & P are linked
with an inner join, P & A with an outer join from P to A. Each join is on
three fields, none of which are common between the joins. The query works
fine and displays fine in the graphic window, but throws an error message
about "The SQL statement could not be executed because it contains ambiguous
outer joins." when I attempt to switch to SQL view and throws error 3258
with the same message in VBA when I try to use code to display the SQL.
