Does GP allow for different Account Formats for multiple Companies
I am setting up a new client that has 3 different companies. Two of them
have the same GL framework. The third has a diffferent account framework.
How can I change the account framework for the new company?

If they are different databases simply go to Tools >> Setup>>Company

I have a simple formula that converts a part number to a 3 of 9 bar code font
in Excel 2003. Works great on my computer but a co-worker, who also has
Excel 2003, can't get this to work. On her PC it show the 3 of 9 font in
the drop down box but in the cell it is not converting it to a bar code
Most likely the font is not installed properly...
She needs to reinstall the font. It can be done through Control Panel ->
Fonts if you have the font available.

We are running Great Plains 7.5 on Terminal Server 2000 and on client PCs
running Windows XP Pro. From a Terminal Server install, user A has been
printing a modified report (cash requirments) for a couple years with a
readable font. Recently we installed GP on her local machine. Now when she
prints, the font is somewhat readable but noticably different then the
terminal server GP. She is using the same printer and print drivers from
both locations. User B prints the same modified report from terminal server

Access 2003. I accidently double clicked on the wrong thing in a new query
based on another query. In the query grid, I added the
qryVentThpyWithinLastArea and double clicked on the *. It only filled one
column of my grid but when I ran the query, it showed all the fields from
the query. I then dragged down Area field and added my criteria. I had
been taught to double click on the blue title bar and then drag all the
fields to the grid then add my criteria. Both ways give me the same data.
What is the differnce?

The entire text box gets inverted. If you want just a line or a word to
invert, you need to make a separate text box. Just make the box active,
select the icon that looks like a line with an arrow head in a circle and
click on it.
BTW, this is with Publisher 2000.

My client is unhappy with how his emails get sent out from MS Outlook.
The GAL on our server lists names as [Last Name], [First Name]. This is
how the majority of our clients want it. However, he wants his to be
[First Name] [Last Name]. So, all recipients getting emails from him
will see his name as First Name, Last Name. We can't do this for him on
our GAL, since it would obviously cause an inconsistency if we did it
only for one name. But, I figured I'd post here to see if anything else
can be done to accomodate him.

I am a lawyer building precedents for my law firm. Here is the problem.
I have about 100 separate macro-enabled templates created in my documents
folder. I have created a separate folder for shortcuts. There I put
shortcuts to each of the commonly used templates I have, and I have assigned
hotkeys to them (F1-F12, ctrl-alt A-Z).
Now here is the problem. Because I cannot save over a template (when I edit
it for changes in the law) and instead have to save it with a different name,
I lose the connection to the hotkey, which is linked to that particular

They both appear to copy the data from the cell above the selected cell.
Ctrl+D is a relative copy
Ctrl+" is an absolute copy
A1 = +B1
B1 = "Hello"
if you put your cursor in A2 and select Ctrl+D, A2 will be =+B2
if you put your cursor in A2 and select Ctrl+", A2 will be =+B1
