count different instances in two columns
I haven't been able to solve this...
I have two columns in the same sheet. I would like to extract (in another
sheet) all the unique elements of each column and count how many each data
is repeated. Any element can appear in both column. An example would be:

In previous versions of Excel I was able to color code a series of data in a
scatter plot based on another colum of data (i.e. cross plot column 1 versus
2 and color code by column 3). I can't figure out how to do that in Excel
2007. Any help?
Did you use VBA code in the previous version. Maybe the security setting is
currently set to disable macros.

This type of chart not in Standarad or Custom Types.
Start by creating a standard column chart.
Now select 1 of the column series that you want as a line.
Right click and chose Chart Types. Select Line chart.
That should have now changed the data series to a line.
Select another column and this time press F4, which will repeat the last
action. Repeat for the final series.
Or maybe its easier to create a line chart of all 4 and the change 1
series to column using the same technique as above.

I have a form which displays (1) Teacher Name and (2) Teacher Picture. On the
same form, I have a Subform with pictures of all the Students associated with
the particular Teacher. Each pic of the Student shows, BUT, if there are more
than 4 or 5 students, the pictures begin to scroll.
Is there a way that I can have 2 columns of pictures so I can dispay maybe 8
or 10 student pics, then possibly with a NEXT button to move to the remaining
student pics for that Teacher if there are any?

I'm trying to determine programmatically the number of pages in one document
for use in another document. I've worked out that:
NumberOfPagesInOtherDoc = OtherDoc.ActiveWindow.Panes(1).Pages.Count
gets me what I want, and it is probably robust enough for my current needs.
However, I'm wondering if there isn't a more efficient way.
I recognise that the concept of "the number of pages in a document" is a
somewhat fluid thing - influenced by stuff like the printer driver, etc. -
