Formating a colum to keep numbers Sequentially
I am trying to format a column, column - A- for example that would be
numbered 1 through 300. It has to always keep this sequence even when the
spread- sheet information is deleted or a new address is added. Help!
Can't do it with formatting, but can use
and copy down.

I'm making a high quality glossy brochure using Publisher.
I created a very nice graphic in Photoshop that I want to use as the
background for each Publisher page. When I import the file the graphic
degrades somewhat. What is the BEST format to use when going from Photoshop
to Publisher? Any suggestions as to how I should do this?
Also, any way to smooth fonts in Publisher (I think it's called aliasing?)?

I am sorry, but I don't understand what NYYYYN represents. I assume
that YYYY represents the year. Can you post an example of the data in
the field, the type of the data (is it a text field, a number field, or
a date field), and what that equates to?

In Word vX and 2004 when I try to insert a date, the dates that are
listed are the US mm/dd/yy formatted dates. The problem I have is that
I want dd/mm/yy to be the format of the date inserted.
The same goes for Excel vX and 2004, when I try to format a
cell/column/row to a date format, the only formats listed are again the
mm/dd format and dd/mm is not even listed under the date section. I
have to go down to custom to get the dd/mm formats.
I am currently using 10.3.4 and my International System Preference is
set to Australian.

In Purchase Order Receiving, when I click on Quick Scan the small Quick Scan
window appears. Message is Enter Barcode or Item Alias. I scan the item and

The recall the transaction for sales return and give the sales invoice no
give you provision to call all the items. but it does not put any validation
or put some kind of flag that sales transaction won't recall again for
another return. It is not the bug but it is how RMS system built of.

In an Excel chart using a column of labels for the Category Axis Labels, the
labels are being truncated by Excel in the chart. For instance, "Middle
East" appears on the chart as "Middle". "Netherlands" appears as "Nether"
Pretty amusing, but not very useful in business. I have tried various
adjustments to column width, etc. without success. Can anyone suggest a fix?

Observe how quickly they're drawn...
Do a 'format axis' on the vertical axis and pick "fixed: 1.0" for the
maximum value, instead of the default "automatic: 1.2".
Now click on one of the data points or do a 'format series' and
wait for a few minutes while Excel uses 100% cpu.
Has anyone else run into this? Is there a workaround other than

I have a simple formula that concatenate values from several cells:
=CONCATENATE(ROUND(D223,0), " ",ROUND(D224,0), " ",ROUND(D225,0), " on
D223, D224 and D225 need 1000 comma separators in the result so that D223,
for example, would read 195,844 and not 195844 in the concatenated string.
As it is, these three cells do have the thousands separator format but the
format doesn't transfer to the concatenated result.

When I type the data into the spreadsheet, it starts at 1, not 0. Then when I
make a graph, it puts the first y value at 1 on the x axis. Is there a way to

Sounds like you have a Line chart, which uses categorical x axis rather
than value, and use have not specified the x's. By default the point
index starts at 1.
First change the chart type to XY Scatter and then make sure you specify
the x values.

I am not a regular user of excel or familiar with the formulas, but I
think I am trying to do something fairly simple- with no success. I
have a row that specifies the square footage of our rooms within our
building. These rooms are broken down into "groups". I used the SUM
formula to find out the square footage of the rooms within a particular
GROUP and now want to list the square footage of the entire facility by
using SUM or SUBTOTAL, by adding the subtotals I have for the groups.
However when I do I get an error. I have 36 GROUP'S that I am trying to
