Percentage Column Charts

HI!! I think I am thinking too much about this and it is easier than it 
seems, but I cant figure it out! hopefully someone can help.

So I need to create a chart with 2 column...plan vs. actual. But I need each 
of these bar columns to be separted by percentages of the categories that 
make them up. 
EX: I need to make a comparison on how big of a percentage the Labor part of 
the Budget was when they planned and how it differs from the actual 
execution.

Thanks! Is there a way to show the percntages, like in a pie chart?

Calculate your percentages in the worksheet, then use one of these utilities 
to apply the calculations as data labels:

Hi, I'm trying to hide columns certain columns in my sheet using VB macro. Hiding of column should be based on the selection made by the user. for example I wanna hide Columns X-AW for a view and for other view wanna hide Column A -X. Charting
My chart shows temperatures in fresh water. The Y-axis is turned to show the depth of the lake by double- clicking the scale. In this dialog box I can put in the maximum and minimum values and a value to show how the depth should increase. The X-axis should visualize the temperatures being lower according to deeper water. (As a plan B I can refer to a range of cells representing the temperatures. This works.) Linking objects in a chart
I have been trying to link content in an autoshape to a cell in my worksheet. In his book Excel Charts, John Walkenbach says that you simply select the object then click in the Formula bar, enter the equal sign, then the cell to be linked. Once you press Enter the object should be linked and show the content of the cell. My problem is that every time I do that, instead of linking the object, I get a new text box in the middle of the chart (with the linked content) - but I need the content in the object! How to apply / position labels for a collection of charts
I have 32 charts, or more. 2nd and 3rd series of each chart are of a percentile of 1st series. I'd like to apply 1 data label for 2nd and 3rd series of each chart. Macro to shift all source data in a chart by one row or column?
Hello all, I have a spreadsheet which contains at least twenty years of data and twenty or thirty charts. Each year we update all of the charts to move the forecast period to the current year and the next five years. Because there is data well beyond the five year period, a dynamic range for the chart data would not work. copying excel chart formats from one chart to another
Is there any way to copy the format of one chart from one to another? I am copying and pasting the chart I want into different cells and manually changing the "source data" in the pasted chart, but the pasted (and sometimes the copied) chart(s) changes size. I have to eyeball it, and there is no way I can find to copy the format from one chart and paste it onto another (like paintbrush). Is there a simple way to do this?
