combining stacked with side-by-side bar
I need a graph which has a combination of horizontal bars (could do vertical
as well, though doubt it matters for whether this can be done), where for
each series, one of the bars is a stacked, two data point bar, and the one
NEXT to it is a single data point. In other words, I have the following data:
Type 1 Type 2 Type 3
There are more types, but this is the example. I need Type 1 to be 2 bars,
one with a stack of Europe A and B, and next to it, a stack of US A and B.
Then I need Type 2 as the next category to show two similar
Is there a limit to the number of slices in an Excel 2000 pie chart. I can
only get (9) to work using the wizard. As soon as I add (10) the last one
gives an error readin and it sits there incomplete.
There are limits but it's not 10.

I have a chart based on numbers in a spread that has a grey background (The chart) but I
would like the background to be white and can not get it to change.
I right clicked on the chart and went to Format Chart Area, Patterns, Fill Effects,
Patterns and changed the background to white but the ok button is greyed out.

Hi all --
Has anyone else come across the need to do the following:
* Have a rule that copies and then forwards all non-domain generated
e-mail to another e-mail address.
- Have all e-mail sent by anyone within the xyz.com domain to
remain in the Inbox, but
anything not sent by someone within xyz.com will be copied and
forwarded to another recipient.
If any one knows of a way to accomplish the above or if it is not possible,
please reply here.

of names. The problem is that the font size is too small - size 10 - and
I would like to make it bigger. Have tried changing the font size of the
data range for the combo box but this has no effect. The properties of
the combo box let me change its size but not the font size of the list

In Excel I have successfully inserted a picture behind an interactive chart
so the chart (graph) is visible overtop of the picture. But when I Save as
Web Page the picture doesn't show up. The graph is fine, and is interactive,
but the background picture file (gif) has disappeared. How can I preserve
the picture so it will save as part of the Web Page? Thanks.

Outlook & Exchan...Tool bar hide in Ac2007
I have an application written Ac2000 that runs fine on computers using
Ac2003. A new user installed Ac2007. Part of the program startup procedure
applies code to hide toolbars (docmd.ShowToolbar etc.). Normally, the main
switchboard form then covers the whole screen.
With Ac2007, the toolbar does not hide. Not only does the toolbar show, but
an object list also displays on left screen.
What kind of code can I write to hide the toolbar and object list. Is there
also code that will allow the program to know that it has opened in Ac2007?
...Can't Download Updates
I cannot download the windows updates for vista 64-bit. I get to the part
where it's starting to download, and then the blue bar just circles and
circles and then eventually hangs my whole computer up. Never had this
problem before, can connect to the internet, updated last on 3/6.

We are posting a few jobs for our company. What I did was created 2 new
accounts and email addresses and gave permissions to the Director who now

I have created a database in Access 2003 to keep track of all of the data
needed for our hospital based bariatric program. The forms created work well.
However now my problem arises that originally there was one contact about a
month after surgery and the information filled in.
Now the staff would like to show multiple contacts for that same patient

You don't want data cells. Does that mean you want each chart printed on its
