Help on Microsoft Excel 2003
I have recently upgraded my microsoft office from 2000 to 2003. Problem: when oppening multiple files using excel, files do not open in the same reversed order as it was selected as office 2000 does. office 2003 will open files in scramble mode? please help I need files to be opened same way as office 2000. it will make my job much easier. I don't think you have any control over the order that files open (via the file|Open dialog). But you could have a macro in a helper workbook that opens the workbooks in the order you want. Microsoft CRM and Exchange integration
We are trying to evaluate Microsoft CRM and have questions about its interoperability with Exchange. Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Here are some questions: 1. If a user adds a contact in CRM, will this be added to a contact list in Exchange? If not, can it? Is the opposite true, where if a user adds a contact in Exchange, can it show up in CRM? 2. If a user adds an appointment in CRM, will this be added to the user's calendar in Exchange? If not, can it? Microsoft SOA
Can anyone point me to something that pretty clearly defines what Microsoft's vision of Service Oriented Architecture is and how they suggest you implement it (best pactices maybe)? Look at workflow foundation + BizTalk + web services and other process inter-operation topics. Drop in web server, messaging and you have complete SOA environment. Vision is that you can build any SOA environment using MS services and components. Anyway, SOA is just another hype slogan. Paradigm existed since the early times, just nobody bothered to standardize architecture. For example Tibco or IBM ar...

Windows Update Incorrectly Offering Security Update to .net framew
My system: Win 7 x64 bit, fully patched through last month's updates. When I ran windows update yesterday, among the expected patches, was the security update for .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 (KB 979916). As I do not have ANY .net framework on my system, I was a little surprised. Can anyone tell me *why* Windows update feels I need to install this patch when the system does not have either .net framework 3.5 or sp1?? illumination greatly appreciated, TIA, sincerely On 6/10/2010 11:59 AM, shnew wrote: > My system: Win 7 x64 bit, fully patched through last month's update...

Applying a different syle set to an existing doc
Hello, I am up to a task that should not be too difficult, but I would really like to know what is the proper way to approach it, with Word 2007. I am given an existing doc (hundreds of pages) formatted with a set of custom styles. I am also given a template file, containing a new different set of styles. I need to apply the new set to the doc. I am looking for the proper way to: 1) Import the new style set in my doc 2) Apply some kind of "mapping" between the old and the new styles (I hope I don't have to do it selecting paraghraph by paragraph ...) Than...

This move will unify the customer experience, centralize content, make it easier for active contributors to retain their influence, mitiga...

Microsoft support for CRM 3.0 ?
How long is Microsoft guarenteeing support from CRM 3.0 ? We've learned from CRM 1.2, that Microsoft CRM without Microsoft support is pretty tough to keep running. I dont think so. Sharepoint and Microsoft CRM help
Has anyone used sharepoint as an external facing portal with CRM data? We are trying to create portal sites for external customers, partners and service providers using Sharepoint, however we seem to be running into a couple of issues around the architecture of this. We need to do something similiar to the e-service accelerator however this needs to be done with SharePoint. Thanks in advance Hi: yes you can certainly do this, it just requires building out the SharePoint sites. If you're running MOSS you might also want to take a look at InfoPath and Forms Services... Update Filter List AFTER Filter Applied
Thank you in advance, experts!!!!! I have an Excel file with a couple of pivot tables. Everything works perfectly, but I would like one more piece of functionality, if it's possible. My raw data includes 6 columns, which are Cust#, CustName, SalesRep, InvAmount, InvDate, and CustCategory. When I go to my pivot table, I have it setup like: Report Filters: Cust#, CustName, SalesRep, CustCategory Row Labels: InvDate Values: Sum of InvAmount When I apply a filter, such as I display all information regarding the SalesRep, the filter works perfectly, showing me only InvDates and InvAmount ...
