Get default event handler of a control.

Hello.

How can I get/set the default event handler of a specific control ? (Any
other event ?)
I need a generic solution (such as reflection for setting properties
values), please.

Thanks :)

What's the default event handler?

If you want to identify the default event, just check the list of events
for the event which is marked using the 'DefaultEvent' attribute. This
can be done by reflection.

I have a problem with OUTLOOK 2003 (WX Pro - SP) that is driving my friends nuts. sometimes when I have an outgoing message with an attachment on it, the message gets stuck in the OUTBOX and goes out repeatedly every time I send another message, thus causing multiple deliveries of the hung up message. It's been going on for some time and to resolve it I have to go in and manually delete the hung up message. I'd sue love to fix it! Do you have AV or firewall that scans incoming/outgoing email? If yes, disable it. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group t...

Re : Excel Events Triggered by the Forward and Back Buttons
Re : Excel Events Triggered by the Forward and Back Buttons 1. Enter an Excel workbook. 2. Refer to the Forward and Back buttons located on the command bars. 3. When the given buttons turn clickable and hence activated, there are apparently certain events being triggered thereof. 4. However, there remains indeterminate where, when and how (the culmination of prevalent conditions that would be required) to trigger the events (as noted). 5. Please share your comments. 6. Tab control questions
Using Office 2003 and Windows XP; When using a tab control: 1) Does it wrap automatically so that the tabs are more than one layer deep if additional tabs are inserted? 2) Is there a way to control when the tabs wrap to a second row or where the break will occur or is this just automatic (i.e. whenever it runs out of room)? 3) I'm sure I won't get anywhere near it, but what is the limit on the number of tabs? There is no object in this control
My Access 2003 application was working for years. I then received "There is no object in this control" when I opened one of my forms. The form references a control in mscomctl.ocx. The control that it did not like was the TreeView control. I tried to re-insert control in the form and got the error "The OLE Server isn't registered". After re-registering MSCOMCTL.OCX (originally getting a 0x8002801c error but corrected that error after installing Vista SP2), I still get "There is no object in this control" when I open the same form. I followed...

How do I do this? -- Mike B You would have to export the entire chart and its workbook into PowerPoint. Issues with OWA after restore of a Domain Controller
We had an issue with our Primary (and only) Domain Controller this past week that essentially involved a complete restore from backup. Since this restore we have experienced a number of issues with OWA that we had corrected months prior to the Domain Controller going down. Our Exchange 2003 SP1 server is a separate server, and was essentially left unchanged while we restored the DC. The issues all appear to revolve around user authentication in OWA. Since the restore our users now need to enter the domain in addition to their username and password. Prior to our DC being restored, t...

Setting Outlook as Default Mail Client

Events in Access
Is there a list some where that explains all of the events you can use on a form and what they are for? Example, After Update, On Enter, Got Focus, Etc. The Access help file does provide some info on this, but there are so many events to look up that it's confusing to know where to start. First thing to notice is that not only do the controls have events, but the form has events in its properties as well. The form events are the ones to learn first. The BeforeUpdate event of the form is the most useful. Access fires that just before the record gets saved, so it is the one to use t...

Passing bitmap to an ActiveX control!
Hi All, I am creating an ActiveX control in Visual C++ for Windows CE that works as a button but displays different images in different states (up, down, focus, disabled). We should be able to enter the images through the controls' properties. Unfortunately, windows CE does not support the CPictureHolder class. Hence, I need a way to pass it a handle to a bitmap from my container application. Wherever I place this ActiveX, I should be able to type the resource ID of the bitmap (hopefully as a string so I can enter the bitmap's name) into a property for the ActiveX and the ActiveX sh...

The name of the dcount calculated control is txtCountDisposition. T...
