Hi Please can somebody help me, i am running exchange 2003 sp1 on a win2003
sp1 platform. I have a backup of my information store, i have created a
recovery storage group and selected the databasebut when i try to restore to
the group it constantly fails i get no error message and there is nothing in
event viewer under applications, this is purly for test purposes and the
database i am trying to recover is in the first administratives group.

use. I was having this problem beforehand anyway. (Google bar = 1 day old,

One our great plain users get the following error in batch recovery when
they check the batch and hit continue:
"you have not marked any batches for posting?"
I orginally thought it might be a privilage issue but it doesn't appear to
be since others with the same privilages do not experiance the issue. Any

Jamal, the problem is that the batch is not responding. I recommend you
review knowledgebase article: 865968 as there are three possible solutions.

I am looking to find what the auto color scheme is in an Excel chart.
Basically, when you select a range of data for a chart it
automatically selects a color for each line in a line graph. I, for
the sake of formatting and conditional formatting, need to know what
that order is for the first 40 colors.
I am currently using Excel 2003.
You could make a chart with 40 series, and see what you've got.
I guess what you want, though, is the color index values for the colors. If
you go to Tools menu > Options > Color, you see the palette, with a couple

Here's my situation that I need to resolve:

I deleted them and emptied the trash.
I immediately used some File Recovery programs to try to recover them.
The programs were unable to find them.

are held in iscsi luns on a NAS and 1 of the exchange servers dies
(for whatever reason).
Could you then attach the information store from the failed filer to
the remaining exchange server and mount the information store, and if
this was done would AD re-home the mailbox's to the new exchange

We are using Exchange 2003 with Veritas 9.0. Individual mailbox backup was
taking way too long so now I'm just backing up the malibox store. I am aware
that if I want to restore (1) users mailbox I would have to restore the
whole store...can I resstore to a different mailbox store on the same

no, there is not...not that I know of...if you have a need to ensure
everything is kept/copied, look into Journaling...

We are preparing a new server and are now testing ASR backup/recovery.
The ASR backup is running fine. We are backing up to a USB drive with
enough capacity and everything seems fine.
When trying to test the backup and recover Windows Server 2003 R2 SD, we
boot up on the CD, press f6 and then f2 to specify that we wish to load
a SAS driver for the disk controller and then run a ASR recovery.
Windows asks for the diskettes and loads a lot of stuff from the cd, but
when windows asks for the ASR diskette the second time and actually

we did a cluster-upgrade from exchange 2000 to exchange 2003 (3 nodes
active/active/passiv - native mode). we try to setup a recovery storage
group on one of the virtual servers

we don't have any rsg at all. when we try to create a rsg on the

I had this notebook and win vista installed. I have installed now win 7.
Recovery partition (pqrecovery) is the first partition. Second partition is
system, third partition is win 7. Previous to this configuration when win
vista was installed first partition pqrecovery, second was "C" windows vista
and third was D for data.
Now i want recovery to initial state with windows vista pressing ALT+F10
during boot but it's impossible. I don't have any cd to recovery. Any one
knows how i can solve this ?
