Some OWA users cant login but some can
We upgraded to Exchange 2003 from 5.5 and rolled out OWA. Some of the users
can access the OWA system, But some cant. What should I check?
Are the mailboxes all on 2003 yet? Are you still in mixed mode? How
long ago did you migrate the mailboxes? I've experienced a similar
situation where I needed to wait for either SRS or the ADC to replicate
information for migrated mailbox before OWA could be used. This took
up to an hour sometimes. Also, did you check the permissions of the
user account to make sure they have access to OWA?

In our network, one user's calendar is not seeing the same events/
notes as everyone else. The updates that he puts in don't get pushed
out to the shared calendars, and he can see some of the updates that
other users put into the shared calendars but not all updates. It
appears as if his calendars won't update beyond a date somewhere in
the neighborhood of about three weeks ago. However, he can send/
receive email from the server just fine.
The clients are all running Outlook 2003 and log into Active Directory
on a Windows SBS 2003 box running Exch...Hyperlink has changed on file re-opening

i have cells in a sheet whose cell contents are hyperlinked to wor
documents. the hyperlink is generated using VBA. part of the fil
name includes the '[' and ']' characters (square brackets)
when the macro is run, everything works fine (click in one of the cell
and the appropriate word file opens) BUT when the workbook is closed an
re-opened, the '[' & ']' is changed to '%5b' and '%5d' respectivel
(which i guess is some srt of charatcer code for those symbols)

We merged an ADMTv2 created user account with an ADC
created Contact, rather that the ADC created Disabled
User. We would now like to get rid of the user account's
association with the Contact info and merge the user
account w/the ADC Disabled user; however, when we try to
do that - using the ADClean util. - ADClean tells us we
cannot as the user account is already mail enabled.
Removing the existing Exchange Attributes on the users
account suggests its self, however, when we go to do that
all sorts of warnings come up (I'm somewhat familiar with
the issues but need more insi...how to check if a user exists in a particular OU/Group from java?
Using Java's LDAP protocol, how to check if a user exists in a
particular OU/Group ?
I have one approach in which, get the distinguishedName for this user
and then remove the first CN part (username). This will be left with
OU part. Now check if this OU matches with the given OU. But does not
sound like a perfect solution to me. Any other better approaches?

OK I hope you guys can help me out. Here is the scenario. I have 3
spreadsheets. The main spreadsheet I working with has 500 lines with a
unique number string. The next two spreadsheets have about 12000 lines
but also contain the same unique string as the first spreadsheet. I
want to search the 2nd and 3rd spreadsheet using the first spreadsheets
unique id number and then take the information from the 2nd and 3rd
spreadsheet and then merge it into the first. Does that make since?

Running XP Pro at work. Login through a domain on Win2003SBS. I login with
my name ssetnicky and password. We only use the server to store data really,
it pushes out antivirus to all the machines, and we can access our

You can't have integrated RI across databases so that part is out. But you
can certainly insert and keep the identities. Take a look at SET IDENTITY
INSERT in BOL.

There is the ability to undo a sort so I suspect the information I
want is somewhere. Is there a way to take a "snap shot" of a sheet's
current row order, and then restore that row order at any point in the
future? During sheet processing, rows will not be added, but data in
any cell may change.
The only other way I can think of doing this, is to record the order
of some "signature" column and then use it to re-write the processed
sheet to a scratch sheet.

I have the same problem. The only workaround I could find was to send
out an email meeting invitation to everyone and instruct them to click
accept (which they eagerly do if it's a holiday).

We have a server that has crashed and AD is all up the wop. It was our
exchange server (Exchange 2000). We have a new server in place but we can't
restore our public folders from backup (Veritas 9.1). Is there a way to
restore public folders to a different server or do we have to rebuild the
server with all the same names etc.....?

had changed it properly as it appears as user JohnJones but when they send
email, etc...it is still from JohnSmith. What am I forgetting?
