Having Formatting Remain on "Called" cell using IF function
I'm using an IF function to call some other cells, but I want to have
the various words color coded, eg ("Certified" is green, "Recertify" is
yellow, and "Not Certified" is red). I have the IF function working
correctly, but when it "calls" the cell to have it display the
appropriate word, the color of each word is not brought along with
it...only the text. Is there a way to be able to color code it so that
the appropriate color appears? Thanks!

I'm currently using Access to keep track of the Tuition Reimbursement program
at my company. Every two weeks, I produce a report that goes to payroll
giving them the amount to be paid, the expended to date balance, balance

I am trying to create a CSV file to enable me to downloand contacts. I have
read numerous times that one uses the "Import and Export" function on the
File menu. But, my Outlook '07 v 12.0.6514 does not have that option. I have
even seen screen shots showing it (its between "data file management" and
"archive") but it doesn't exist in my File menu. Does anyone know where to
find "Import and Export"?

I have about 120 documents that are full of quotes about customer's
experiences with different companies. I've managed to use different
macros to snag the customer information and delete it, adjust the
spacing between the paragraphs, etc. The one thing that I can't figure
out is some way to automate (via macro or find/replace or whatever)
putting quote marks around all these paragraphs.
I've already told my boss that even considering asking me to go through
and add them by hand is wholly unacceptable. Haha

...Handling open sales orders w deposits at month end
We are having a debate on how to handle these. The debate centers over doing
a customization that will remove the deposits, close the orders, recreate the
orders in the new month and assign the deposits back to the orders. The
other side of the debate is there has to be a better way to handle this as it
shouldnt be uncommon for businesses using GP to have open orders cross months.
(As a business we commonly have orders that will be placed in one month and
then completed/shipped several months later).
Does anyone have any input for out debate?

so here it is: even though 'single sign-on' is turned on, and we have Active
Directory integration in place, users must click on "Sign In" link (upper
right corner) in order to log on. After they click on link, THEY ARE NOT
PROMPTED for username and password - since they are already logged on to
Active Directory, their credentials are passed to MOSS.
As you can see, problem is that credentials are not passed AUTOMATICALLY,
but only after clicking on "Sign In" ink.

We have migrated from Exchange 5.5 to 2000 SP2. Clients use Outlook 2000
and Outlook XP.
We have a generic tech-support mailbox. In 5.5, Users used to be able to
open the email from the support box, hit reply, and THEIR name would
automatically be filled in on the From Field. Now, on Exc2000, hitting
reply in the support mailbox automatically puts "support" in the From Field
and not their name. Users have to manually put their name in the From
Field. Is there a setting to avoid this?

It depends... In what format is the order form? Hard copy? If so, then
you would have to type in the data from the order form.
If the order form is in some type of soft copy, then you would want to open
that file with Excel. The Help file will tell you how to do this.
If the order form exists as a record in a database, then you would need to
coax Excel to query the database to get the data. The Help file will (sort
of) tell you how to do this.
Once you have the data in Excel, then you can manipulate it as you wish.

I mostly reorder them by selecting the series and update the ordernumber in
the formula of the series displayed in the formula bar, but ...
the selected series is very often NOT showed in the formula bar , why is that?
If you have actually selected a series, its formula will appear in the
formula bar. If you've clicked on something else, like a data label, there
will be no series formula. In the Name box (Excel 2003 & earlier) or in the
top left of the two rightmost chart tools tabs, the name of the selected
chart element will be displayed, so y...message " cannot save item " when trying to record new events
