Put a table in mail merge quote.

Hi all,

I would like to put a table in my quote to display line items. It should be 
able to automatically increase depending on the number of line items.

Is possible to achieve this?

This is actually quite easy in CRM 4. From quotations - print quotation from 
customer. You just create a word template with all non repeating information 
in the header or footer.
The body of the template should just contain the quote detail lines you 
require. The body will repeat for each line on the same page.

The quote totalamount can be aligned with line totals in the footer.

Hi Marge,

You are right, but the line items do not appear in the a table with visible 
rows and columns and that's what I would like to have. Is Possible?

Hi Phumulani,

save a local copy the default Quote for customer template. then update the 
document by inserting a table with single row. In each of the columns place 
the mail merge field. see the preview and when you merge to the final 
documents things should be all good. you can have table with your style etc.

Hi, Is it possible to stop a pivot table grouping the row headings so that some of the items in the row appear to have blank cells adjacent to them? This is annoying if you want to run another pivot table on the results of your first table. It means you have to copy and paste the row headings into all the blank cells which can be frustrating if you have many lines of data.
