printing error handling issue? (when clicking cancel get 2501 error)
I have a report that when it is closed the
DoCmd RunCommand acCmdPrint occurs ... but of course if the user clicks
cancel, it gives me
a 2501 error.
How & where do I put code to surpress this error. I would just the close
even to run the
DoCmd RunCommand acCmdPrint and if cancel is selected just continue to close
I understand that I have to do this, I actually don't understand HOW to do
it, and where to put code to accomplish this??

The "Border" tab in the "Format Cells" dialog box allows me to choose
predefined line widths but I need a width other than what is offered.
Is there a way to do this?
Not with the borders property...you are restricted to xlHairline,
xlThin, xlMedium, xlThick".......
You could *possibly* fake it with the AddLines method of the worksheet
but I wouldn't really want to try.....;o)

Anyone who can help:
I'm using an older version of Publisher (2002). I was working on a floor
plan for a project when suddenly, all the lines and borders disappeared. I
am now unable to make any selection to change the line color--the selection
defaults to a blank option no matter what color I choose, creating
essentially invisible objects and lines in my files, even new ones.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Publisher twice to no effect--the problem
persists. (Interestingly, the same files when opened in Publisher 2002 on
another machine display fine.)

As far as I can tell, there is no error message in Outlook 2003 that states a
file "is enormous".
You should zip a PST before sending or rename it to, say, ".psx" or ".ps_"
before you send it. The recipient can undo the steps you took to send it.

Hope someone can help on this one...I have 4 data series that I am trying to
plot on a Line-Column chart. I need 3 of these to be columns and one to be a
line. It is defaulting to 2 columns and 2 lines.
Does anyone know how to override that default, so I can change the one line
(basically the 3rd data series) to a column?
Select the series you want to change, then on the Chart menu, choose Chart
Type, and choose the new type to assign to that series.
Next time, starting from scratch, make a column chart with all four series,
then change the one to a line.

using a button linked to some VBA code. I'd like to be able to have
the label formatted (i.e. color, size, etc) so that the user just has

Some of the smaller images on my leaflet have been clipped (ie partially cut
off) when printing. Looking at them on the print preview the clipping is not

I have been looking all over to try and find out how to add bullets to a
field on a report. I am using Access 2007. I can find the buttons in the
ribbon but can't for the life of me figure out how to make them active. I
have a field in the detail section that can have one or two records or 10 to

JoAnn, I hope you are there... I love Publisher (2007, well all of them),
though not so sure about Vista, and this problem also occurs with Word.
Anyway, if I want to print a shape that is filled, then, even with a plain
colour fill, I have to go into Pattern Effects and ensure both the foreground
and background colours are set to the colour that I want inside my printed
shape. Note that the screen display is OK. Annoying... but it works!

I still have files of up to 4MB, after deleting the
contents of a 16MB excel 97 file then saving !!!

(3)repeat 1&2 for any other sheets
(4)Then click on FILE, then SAVE AS a new name
Windows explorer shows that the new file can be up to 4MB.
This is very frustrating if I am trying to reduce the size
