I have a combo box (cmbShipDate) in a form that is based on a table with drop
down values of ShipDate1, ShipDate2, ShipDate3, etc. I have created a text
box and I want the correct ship date to be displayed based on the combo box
selection. These ship dates are all stored in a table called tblOrder. I
thought I could use the DLookUp fuction, but I'm not doing something

A Great Plains report prints checks. The check amount field is too
small and needs to be increased. How does one change the font of a

If the report is a text report, you can't change the font. If it's a
graphical report, click on the field and press <Ctrl-D>.

The field-level (column) selection boxes used to select the data to be
included in a pivot table include old and new values. How do I refresh these
list boxes so they only include values that are present in the current source
data? The list box continues to show values that are no longer in the data
Click in the Pivot Table to bring up the Pivot Table toolbar. (If that
doesn't bring it up, rt-click a toolbar and select it from the list.) Click
the button with the ! icon to Refresh the Pivot Table.

in fact, I even got it to pull the information from selceted fields on the

I am new at creating code and would like to have two fields populated when
the record is reviewed.
One is the user name and the other is the date reviewed.
There is a form which contains the Member Name and ID number. I would like

I have found that my cursor seems to lock up for some unknown reason
occasionally and when I try to escape I can't get out. The program just

Open the form in design view and set the Default value of the control (right
click the control and open the properties box to do this)

I'm using Access 2003 as a reporting tool against a mySQL database,
connecting with the mySQL ODBC driver 3.51.17.
The ODBC driver reports every datetime field as a Long Integer in Access.
This makes date operations problematic.
I notice an interesting post in this forum from 2005 that would work fine
("Convert UNIX time to windows general date"), but using a function with
every row seems like an unnecessary performance hit. Also, it seems
counter-intuitive that the driver doesn't recognize the correct field type.
The problem looks suspiciously like the mySQL bug rep...set first record to zero in a calculated field
I have a query which compares the current record's create time with the
previous record's create time, which gives me the number of seconds elapsed
between button presses. All works fine, except the first record is blank. I
want it to say either zero or 1 second, regardless of what the query say's.
This is the SQL (which creates a sub query from the exisitng table in order
to compare current with previous record.)
