CRM Laptop Client Connection Issue

Recently we registered ASP.Net2 on IIS in order to install a custom ASP.Net2 
application on a CRM machine... 

Afterwards all sorts of problems occured of which we couldn't connect to CRM 
anymore. So we figured out that it could be an ASPNet version issue because 
we found that the main Web Site and sub sites like Microsoft CRM 3.0 now were 
using ASP.Net v2, so we changed these from properties, and we changed the 
master Web Site from the Properties > Virtual Directory Configuration  to 
point to the Framework 1.4 rather than 2.0.

Now, we managed to get CRM back to work and we are able to connect to it 
through web clients but we have 2 other problems:

1- We are unable to access reports (We set those to use ASP.Net2 because we 
have a SQL Server 2005)
2- We are not able to connect online through CRM laptop client through 
outlook. Here I want to ask, what is the difference between connecting 
through CRM web client and CRM laptop client aren't they the same? Because we 
are able to connect through web client but not through laptop client

Any suggestions to fix the above 2 issues we will be greatly appreciated 
(Apart from re-installing CRM offcourse).

Anybody... please help !

By the way we managed to fix the ReportServer issue by running the SQL 
Server 2005 > Configuration Tools > Reporting Services Configuration
and applying all changes again.

We still have a problem in accessing the server online through CRM Laptop 
Client for Outlook although we are able to access the server perfectly 
allright through web client. The Outlook client was working perfectly 
allright on all laptops for the last 3 months... now it is not !!!

Nothing in the Event Viewer of the laptop(s) nor in the server !!! No other 
logs !!! How can someone no what is the problem !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any ideas as how to fix this problem.... It seems on the server side. ???!!

This is really urgent ...

Thank GOD

The problem was solved after we repaired CRM on the server side from 
* Control Panel > Add Remove Programs
* Select the Microsoft CRM Server program
* Click the Change/Remove button
* Select the Repair option and start the repair wizzard

Important Note: You should have looged in to CRM server using the same 
domain user name that was used when you first installed CRM in the first 
place.

Let's hope that no body else goes through the nightmare we went through 
today :-)

Shared Mailboxes issue

Hi, I have an Exchange 5.5 environment with SP4. We have over 11 sites and in the London site I have installed three servers. I have mailboxes sitting on all three servers in London. Connectivity Problems
Sorry about the length of this post, but I have no idea what I'm talking about, let alone explain it! We have two sites (Head Office and Remote) with a Netgear FVS338 VPN firewall at each end. Outlook Client on CRM 1.2 Server Box for Demos
Hi, Did a CRM 1.2 install on Windows 2003 Server and all is working well. I have been seeing things on this newsgroup that say I should be able to install the Outlook client as well on this machine although it is an unsupported configuration. This is for demo's only. SFO CRM folders won't display page

Delay after connecting w/ RPC over HTTPS
My users can connect using RPC over HTTPS, but there is an irritating one-minute delay after the connection is made, during which Outlook shows "Connected" in the bottom-right info box and "Waiting to update this folder." Odd Label Printing Issue
I'm using RMS v1.3.0206. I'm nearly done bringing up a new store. The Store Operations server and both POS terminals are doing great. Connections to HQ are all fully functional as far as I can tell. I have installed the CRM software and MSSQL with SP3 on my test server. Still need to set up an Exchange 2000 test server with dummy users that only need to send mail internally.
