CRM 4.0 queue issue

Hi,

I've run into this in CRM 3.0 (and honestly, I don't know what I did to fix
it). But now it's happening in CRM 4.0. I have a queue, and a user with an
email address. I want all email that is sent to this user to also appear in
the CRM queue. I have it working, it's just that I'm getting everything
twice. Once as an email from the original sender, and once from the
recipient to the recipient, with the original email as an attachment.

For example,

kbriscoe@domain.com sends an email to ITSupport@domain.com (Our queue's
email address is ITSupport@domain.com). The queue gets 2 emails. One from
kbriscoe@domain.com addressed to ITSupport@domain.com, with the contents of
the email in the body. Another email is then received by the queue. Its
title is always "FW: <subject>", where subject is the actual subject of the
email. This forwarded email is from ITSupport@domain.com and addressed to
ITSupport@domain.com. The body is blank, and the attachment is the original
email.

Quick fix I hope? Thanks!

Ken Briscoe

Problem solved.

Turns out there was an extra rule on the account. The proper rule forwarded
everything to the exchange router (crmexchange@domain.com). There was an
additional rule that forwarded everything to itself (ITSupport@domain.com).
This is where the dupe came from.

Thanks.

CRM 3 Campaign Workflow
Hi, Is it possible to use the workflow service to create tasks associated with Campaigns. I checked the Campaign entity in the Workflow and when I select action, there is no option to create a task. I can create a manual workflow that creates tasks but I don't see how to link that to the campaign entity. I appreciate your help, feedback and advice. Is there any integration between CRM and Windows Sharepoint Services or Sharepoint Portal Server? Dear Daniele, You can use webparts to load crm pages in sharepoint. you will have to direct the webparts directly to the correct page. for instance, directing it to 'http://servername/sfa/home_conts.aspx' will show the list of all contacts in sharepoint. Two recipients are configured with the same e-mail address. #5.1.4
We are a small church office that recently migrated our contact information out an old access database into AD Exchange 2003. The problem is we have lots of family based information and children generally do not have individual email addresses so we have always used a concept called family email. If I wanted to send an email to Billy about his Sunday School homework, the message would go to the "family" email. Since all of the minor children in this family all have this same "family" email address, exchange is having fits and I'm getting one NDR #5.1.4 after a...

Add in Streets and Trips to CRM
Hi there, We would like to incorporate Microsoft Streets and Trips within CRM. Is this possible? Our goal is to provide an easy way for Techs to get directions to the Clients site without having to maneuver between multiple applications. What would be ideal is if Streets and Trips software was available from the Account/Contact form. Thank you. Microsoft Genuine Advantage issue?
I've got a strange Outlook issue that started after an update brought down 'Microsoft Genuine Advantage' for Office. I've got Office 2003 Professional on Vista Home Premium (32bit) that's been running just fine for months. Yesterday, Vista decided to download this Office 'update' and it did it for both Office 2003 *and* 2007 - no idea why it threw 2007 into the mix other than I may have run and uninstalled a trial version of it for a moment or two back when I first built the machine, but I think that is where things are going wrong. The next time I went in...

CRM Integration for Great Plains V1.2 Restored GP database issue
Wonder if anyone has experienced the same problem. I have setup CRM 1.2 and Great Plains 7.5 in a test environment. If I do a clean installation of Great Plains using the sample company (two) and then install the CRM Integration, when I then create a Debtor Account in Great Plains it goes through to CRM. This is fine. If I go through the whole process again, meaning I load CRM, then load Great Plains using a RESTORED company database and then finally load the CRM Integration, then when I create a Debtor Account in Great Plains it does not go through to CRM. It does generate a whole bunch o...
