Cannot log on to the system After upgrade from 1.2 to 3.0

Hi 
The CRM Server 1.2 upgrade to 3.0  and SQL Server 2000 sp4 in the Same box. 
Windows Server 2003 SP1 Environment   


After  upgraded from CRM 1.2 and everything went good. When i tried to log 
on to 
the CRM 3.0 i recieved the following error:
Authentication Error Microsoft CRM could not log you on to the system. Make 
sure your user record is enabled and that you have been assigned at least one 
security 
role. For more information, contact your system administrator. 


 I have checked the authetication is checked to Windows integrated but 
received 
the same error message.



Any help would be great.

Mike,

Yes is true the user have the crm administrator role with professional license
in the CRM 1.2 before the upgrade.

Hi,

turn on tracing.
If the detailed error (instead of the simple box) shows and something like 
"System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Typ 
'Microsoft.Crm.WebServices.UserQueryWebService" shows, there is a chance 
that THIS service is not in "application mode" under the IIS applications 
directory (IIS management, where you declare applications, virtual 
directories etc..).

We had this issue a few days ago after having upgraded from 1.2.

Running 2 Versions of Publisher
I want to install and try the Publisher 2007 trial version. I currently have Pub 2002 on my machine. Can I install both versions? Or does 2007 screw up 2002? Or can I install 2007 on another HD on my system w/out touching my 2002 install? merging 3 spreadsheets into one based upon a single common data field
OK I hope you guys can help me out. Here is the scenario. I have 3 spreadsheets. The main spreadsheet I working with has 500 lines with a unique number string. The next two spreadsheets have about 12000 lines but also contain the same unique string as the first spreadsheet. I have started getting a strange message in several of my MAC Office products including Word and Excel that says Can Not Empty Clipboard. Each time I click "send/receive", the same two email messages are sent to my inbox. If i clik three times, the two messages will drop into my inbox for a total of six messages! Want to say that I'm impressed with 2011. Many things on my wish list were done to improve older versions�the tiny Style window in Word is better than the Windows version, Outlook doesn't make you scroll though a long list of fonts to get to what you want, and the software plays better with the Mac OS. I have set up an Exchange 2003 Server and everything works fine, but I have complaints that the email notification in the Web Outlook Access is not working for AD users. It works for admin accounts but not a standard user, do they need to be in a certian group in order for it to work for them.
