Assembly Entry Variance Account Blank
When we create and release an assembly entry then click the "Distribution"
button it doesn't populate a variance account most of the time. I've checked
the items in the item master and they all have a the correct assembly
variance account, the components have stock available and are not
discontinued, but it will not populate the account. I've found two BOM's
that it will populate correctly on but I don't see any differences between

If you are using Outlook with Sendmail, export the user mailbox to PST file.
Once you have the users Exchange Mailbox created, import the PST file into
the Exchange Mailbox.

All you should have to do is click on them once and they should be there next
time you go into that menu. Let us know if that doesn't work...

I have posted Invoices and Returns that have incorrect comments on them. I
know that the Comments are held in the SOP30200 in a field called Comment ID.
In this case they did not use an established Comment ID, so it's reflected
as untitled on the document and blank in the table. I'm trying to find out
if someone has attempted to alter comments after the documents have posted.
If I pull the historical document up in Inquiry>Sales>Sales Document>Sales

the old comment. I just don't know...Running balance in bank account suddenly wrong!
We went to enter todays transactions into a bank account, and noticed that
the running balance was wrong by ~$250 :-|
After *hours* of investigation it looks like the 'starting balance' for this
account was now ~$250 higher than should have been!
We have been on Money since 2001, and when we upgraded to 2004, we archived
2001 - 2002. When we upgraded to 2005 we archived 2003. We can't tell why
M2005 *suddenly* decided that the starting balance was wrong, but this cast
serious doubt on M2005 reliablity.
Has anyone else had this problem? Beware people, beware!

This is a brand new publication. It only has two pages to it. There is
hardly any content and NO web links.
But when I use the VIEW drop down menu and click that very first option

I am using Excel 2007.
I want to have a column that lists percentages - but to still be able
to use the accounting single underline correctly. When I manipulate
the accounting format to _(*#,##0.00%_) the underlining is not
correct. If I use the accounting format I cannot get "%" signs.
Does this work?

I can't see a table in QBE even when I have the scroll bar as far left as I
possibly can. I have joineed another table to the query and I can see the
relationship link but am unable to scroll left to view the table.

...Double Counting Transaction from Credit Card and Bank Account
Would appreciate some thoughts. Seems to me that since I
have my credit card and bank account downloaded to Money
I am double counting transactions.
Example: I spend $5 on credit card at Grocery Store. I
log that into MONEY accordingly.
Then I pay from my bank account $5 to credit card
company. When it comes to logging it into bank record,
seems as though I am double counting expense.

The transaction from your bank account to your credit card should be a
Transfer (as opposed to a categorized spending of funds)...Right Item sold wrong customer set for store account.
We just closed out the billing cycle for the last month and found that one of
our in house store accounts had no balance due to the fact that the sale was
rung up on the wrong one.
Is there any way to change the billing customer so that the reciept with the
digital signature will show up with the right customer?
I know that I could just void the sale but like I said then no signature or
correct date at the time of sale.

I have a customer who has many investment accounts, setting them up as bank
accounts does not work.
They need the ability to reconcile serveral accounts example
11/10 they recieve $50,0000 they make the following entry
Cash Account Debit $50,000 Sales/Income Credit $50,000
11/11 They will buy $50,000 T-Bills (At Maturity)
They will Debt the Investment Account for $50,000
They will credit the cash account for $45,000
They will credit a discount account for $5,000

Cash $ 5,000

While I'm working on my newsletter some of my graphics do not show up. The
picture box is there but it only shows up when I go to print preview. This
makes it hard to edit not being able to see the graphic. Any suggestions?

I am having an issue assigning accounts records to users with a certain role.
I have two roles set up, a salesperson and sales manager.
If I (sysadmin) or a sales manager tries to assign an account record to a
salesperson, we get a permissions error. If I give the salesperson the sales
manager role, the record will assign correctly.
Does anyone have an idea of what permissions need to be to be able to
reassign an account record?
The salesperson has basically the same rights to all records, but change,
delete and assign rights only to thier own records.

In Excel 2003, when you open up a new spreadsheet, if you go to File -> New
-> Spreadsheet Solutions -> there is an invoicing template that you might be
able to use. It might exist in lower versions too. You can probably tailor
this template to your needs.

We need to be able to audit changes made to opportunities, quotes, orders
etc. by users. Is there a way of viewing the history of changes made to to
opportunities, quotes, orders etc. - MS - CRM v 1.20.
Sorry but there is no audit facility for Microsoft CRM 1.2 such as a trail
showing every transaction. I have requested it as a new feature however even
if it does not turn up in the next release it may be possible to write such
a tool. However as said for now it does not exist. One option is to look at
post callouts as these could be used to write a basic audit log.
