I have outlook set up to send/receive every minute but it suddenly stopped
doing so. Anyone have ideas why?
Several. For starters, a one minute polling interval is just nuts.
It is difficult to determine why automatic polling is failing when you do
not post your mail account type, connection type and polling settings. If
automatic polling once worked and now fails, you also need to examine what
changes were made to your setup before automatic polling stopped working.

I've tried a custom format for entering credit card numbers (four groups
of four digits, separated by dashes: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.
I have tried to use ####-####-####-#### and 0000-0000-0000-0000 but
each of these causes the last digit to change to zero. So if I enter
5415779800902512 I get 5415-7798-0090-2510.
Anybody already solved this problem?

Hi for some reason I now have to save my work for any formlas etc to change
when I update a worsheet, how can I stop this as it is a pain and sometimes
I need to do changes to see how they work before saving the work.
Click on Tools | Options | Calculation tab and set to Automatic
calculation, as it is probably set to Manual. You can press F9 to
force a recalculation under a manual setting.
Make sure you save the file with the Automatic setting, to avoid it
happening next time.

new chapter that the outline numbering does not pick up on the chapter

in the adjcent cell one column to the left. If there are subsequent numbers

I am having some trouble opening up Word. It was working okay until I
loaded some fonts to FontBook. Okay, now I removed all my fonts but I
still get this error message about corrupt fonts I have on my computer.

Unfortunately, you can't increase the number of rows. Versions 2002 and 2003
have the same limitation.

The client has a dual monitor. And, we have a 3rd-party Excel Add-In that
"pushes" data into our accounting system from this excel spreadsheet with a
click of a button in the Add-Ins tab.
On one monitor, we see the Excel spreadsheet containing this data that we
"push" with this Add-In. When we successfully push, the other monitor
automatically opens a read-only version of this same spreadsheet.
We need to find a way for Excel to not produce this read-only spreadsheet on

I am having trouble with the syntax of a query I'm trying to write. Here is
the situation, simpified to its essence:
C:/DB/A.mdb has tblNames with relevant fields CustID, CustName, CustEMail.
C:/DB/B.mdb has the same table and fields.
C:/DB/C.mdb also has the same table and fields.
Many of the names appear in 2 or 3 of the databases, but most names appear
in only one of the three databases.
Here's what I am trying to do (so far without success)...
I want the values of CustID, CustName, CustEMail that are in A.mdb
the values of CustID, Cus...Number colours
Is it possible to change to colour of a number to indicate whether it was
positive or negative? IE - blue for positive numbers and red for negative.
