Employee Time Clock and Tracking

Does anyone have a good database used for tracking employee times throughout
the day for loggin in, breaks, lunches, and loggin out...or something similar
to this I could use? I would appreciate it if you could point me to
something besides the one that Access suggests already to use.

Thanks.

If you want folks to suggest something that would meet more of your needs
than "the one that Access suggests", you'll probably want to tell us what
those needs are that the one Access suggests doesn't meet...

Need help with ListCtrl after font change
Hi Folks, I'd appreciate any advice.... my project is actually done in WTL, but I thought the MFC group would be a good place to start. I have a ListCtrl in report view which I am doing custom drawing and stuff but otherwise nothing special. Recently I added the ability for the user to configure the fonts on the fly for the ListCtrl, menus, statusbar, etc. When I change the font in the ListCtrl, if I am scrolled to the top so that the first item is visible, all is fine. If, however, I'm scrolled down so that the first item in the list is not visible, the ListCtrl seems to lose tra...

Unable to update free/busy time
Hi there, This morning I installed the Exchange 2000 post-sp3 rollup on our small business server. Since then users have been getting messages from Outlook saying that it can't update free/busy time on the server. Prior to installing the rollup we did not get the errors. Business Portal - Employee Pay
This window does not auto-populated from existing employee data in Business Portal HRM:SS. The Employee Profile/Dependent/Benefits etc. windows all populate immediately but the W-4 window requires that a Modify transaction be made by the employee and approved by the supervisor before it will display data. This is contrary to all other windows and confuses the employees. It provides a first-impression that is not good for their experience with Business Portal. Where is tracking tab?
I recently upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP Pro. I had to set up my Outlook again, which may contribute to my problem: I have "Request Read Receipt" for all my messages. I do receive the receipts in my Inbox, but when I look in Sent Mail at my original document, I should see a tab called Tracking which shows a summary of the read receipts. I don't even have the tab anymore (since upgrading). Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks! Version please? Exchange server involved? Autoformat dates and times
Hi, I have a workbook with two columns. In the formula bar of one of the cells i have 2005040101700 (YearMonthDateHoursMinutes), but what shows in the cell is 2.00504E+11 When I try to format the cell as yyyymmddhhmm I get ########### and when I put the cursor over the cell with ############### it says that negative dates and times are shown this way. How can I make this work? Thanks. Allison Allison, I'm hoping that your actual value is different: 2005040101700 doesn't make sense: year 2005 month 04 day 01 hour 01 minutes 70 seconds 0 Perhaps it's really 200504010...

Why does Outlook's message recall feature work sometimes but not all the time?
Basically my users have a problem with message recall. The problem is sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't. Even more frustrating is when they get a successful recall notification message and then they get a reply to the message that was supposedly recalled successfully! How to track meetings for a task?
How would you suggest to charge meeting time to a my Timesheet task? TIA! Depends on if it's a planned meeting or informal. I typically just create a bucket task through the entire schedule for "Meetings" or book it to PM time. You may also opt to create a distinct line item bucket task for status meetings as opposed to other ad hoc meetings. If it's a big phase gate meeting, I may list that specifically as a line item, but for anything less than that, it becomes too granular for effective management. - Andrew Lavinsky Blog: http://blogs.catapultsystems...

Repeat values in column A a certain number of times depending on the value in column B
Imagine a set of data as set out below: Column A Column B Apples 24 Pears 36 Oranges 8 I want to poplulate a column (for exampel column A on a new sheet), where the values in column A will be repeated as many times as the value in column B Thus the first 24 rows will say Apples, the next 36 rows will Pears, Oranges. How do you print one address label at a time on avery 5160 labels.
I'll bet you have partial sheets of labels. I know that's why I have to use a work-around. You'll have to use a template of the entire sheet, not the wizard. 1. Go to http://publishermvps.com/Default.aspx?tabid=38 2. Download the template for Avery 5160 labels. 3. Create the label you want. 4. Print said label. 5. DST: Exch2k After patching, differences between meeting times and availability chart
Let me explain a bit more... 1. We applied the DST patches on all clients and servers, including the Exch2k box but we decided not to buy the CDO patch. 2. We used the Exchange tool 930879 to correct rebase appointments on all mailboxes. Some issues with a few meetings but OK in general. But we noticed that for every meeting that was corrected, the meeting time was OK, but the period of availability for a person invited to that meeting was still off! Example: The day before we did the updates, Tom booked a meeting with Paul on the March 25th from 9:00 to 10:00. After the updates, t...

Vote Tracking issue
Hello everyone. I recently sent a vote out to our exchange users (approx 400-450 users), and noticed that as the responses started coming in, I had to open each one to tally the vote. No problem, I can handle that. The issue is, there are about 75-100 that are not being counted and still remain in my inbox. Is there anyway to process or re-process "Vote responses" so these missing votes can be counted? Thanks, cc Forgot to mention, I'm using OL2003 with Exchange 2003. How can I limit the number of emails sent in a given time?
I work at a small business and I need to send an email to a list of several hundred custoers on a regular basis. However, my ISP limits the number of emails sent out to 20 per every five minutes. payroll
It is not always feasible to void a payroll check (if it has cleared the bank, or was paid via Direct Deposit). We need to be able to enter negative paycode transactions and negative deduction transactions to make adjustments easily on the next paycheck. The present work-around of creating a pre-tax deduction to withhold overpayments to employees creates inaccuracies in number of hours worked, and also deductions like 401K or garnishments that are based on gross pay. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes...
